I had completely forgotten the little red wagon. Yes, I would appreciate any you might have. Are there any bits or pieces you might be looking for?

Do you know if either of those companies are owned by members of this site? If I can't trade for any, I'd like to support a member before going anywhere else.

Thanks for looking, I appreciate it.

That would be appreciated, thanks.

Do you also have 1:1 project cars?

This is the first that I have owned. When I was young my mom's best friend had a 1964. Navy blue with white top and interior convertible with a 428. I fell in love....probably with a fickle mistress, I know. A good friend has a 1960 that I have done a lot of upkeep on and it's a joy to drive. This '64 has been off the road a number of years. It has a 390 and the engine compartment is complete and unmolested. Door panels are missing, so that tells me there are power window issues of some kind. It comes with a clear title.....but no keys. One can hope the door panels are in the trunk. Even so, I pulled the trigger on it and only time will tell if I shoot myself in the foot or not. π -
Many years ago I saw a picture of a 1971 Plymouth Duster with a slant six. Somewhere along the way I picked up a resin bench seat, and sourced a slant six from the Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330, I already had the Duster kit. I'm sure I can come up with wheels and tires from my parts box, but I need the caps. Before you ask, no I do not have the ones from the 330 kit. I traded those off years ago before I remembered my Duster.... I have included a picture of the factory hub caps. I just need to come close, I'm not too picky. π

The Straight Six Community Build Rides Again

I've been rounding up my parts. Years ago I ran across some pictures of a Panther Pink '71 Duster with a slant six. Somewhere along the way I picked up a resin bench seat. I pulled the slant six from the Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330. Now all I need to find are some stock rims with dog dish caps. -
From the lack of detail vs normal ROG kits, I think it's the Monogram kit reissued, since Revell owns Monogram, it makes sense. It will also have a warped hood...just letting you know.

Looks great Tom, but I think you need a larger engine. Remember, no replacement for displacement. π -

2025 Cannonball Run - 50 years since the 1975 run.

I sorted out my missing engine parts, and main body color is sprayed. I figure if your trying to fly below the radar, go fast colors might not be a good idea, so I went with a more subdued semi gloss color I had. -

I just remembered that I did a thread on my Hubley models, so I didn't need to dig them out from the bottom of my closet.

Absolutely beautiful π. Great job!

I actually have more than I thought I did. The black 49 Ford and Mercury were from about 1980, the rest are early to late '80's. I have an amt 69 Chevelle that I restored, and an amt 57 Ford that I recently pulled apart for restoration. The Jeep and the 56 Ford are two of my favorites. I also have a number of Hubley Model A Fords, 32 Chevrolet, and a Packard that I built with my dad from about 1975 through 1980. All brush painted with Testors bottle paint. They are all boxed up at the bottom of a closet, so no way am I pulling those out for a quick pic. π

That is beautiful. I have built the other two amt offerings, but not the sedan.

Absolutely stunning. My sister has one, her first car when she turned 16. It needs total restoration now, but I am planning on building one like she wants hers to look. It isn't an XL, so I will need to change a few things.

Thanks, I was looking for something a little more classic in the wheel department and found these leftover from the Revell 1969 Nova.
-
Thanks everyone. Even though it took as long as it did, and isn't perfect, I am happy that I finally built my grail car.

When I started finishing my 60 sedan delivery, I found that the chrome tree also included the bits for the 59. I wish I had noticed this earlier, I might have used some of them because of better detail.

Beautiful job! I grew up with Model T Fords and a number of years ago, on another forum, I mentioned that I wanted to build one of these. A few days later this showed up in the mail. He had built one a few years before that, and sent it to me as a gift.
