  1. Nice work. Love a 59 Elcamino.
  2. That's the one. Let me know if it's too crazy for you and you want to trade it.
  3. I think crazy is required if you want to build models. ? I need to find the '46-'48 body made for this chassis. My father-in-law has one and I would like to replicate it.
  4. My friend is sending me a chopped resin body. Has your next life time arrived yet? ?
  5. Nice work, I enjoyed building my day cab version .
  6. It happens that a friend of mine just purchased a 1941 Packard woody. For a couple of years Packard did produce a woody, but only as a four door. This one is a two door, and whoever it was that did the conversion started with a two door sedan, and well, see for yourself.
  7. Those are both amazing, but the woody.... ?
  8. WoW ?
  9. That was the one ! Thank you so much. I looked through my back issues and did not find it. I did put your link on my watch list. If my mad money comes in, I will purchase the magazine. Thanks for your help, I knew I wasn't crazy.
  10. I just went through this thread. I have a thing for these kits and have collected a box full of parts and rebuilders. If you need anything, just send me a pm. One of the rebuilders I picked up had a flathead V8 in it. I thought that was an interesting engine to put in it. To my surprise, it had a complete chassis under it from the 40 Ford pickup. Fit like a glove and looked like it came that way from the factory. A friend of mine built this.
  11. Now this is different...in an awesome way. ?
  12. Just saw this thread. I have one of these in the stash, and will definitely follow along.
  13. Would one of the current reissued kits be close enough to give you patch panels?
  14. Looks great.
  15. When I saw the start of this project in the Nov/Dec 1981 issue, I made sure I got to the hobby shop early enough to not miss an installment. I dreamed of building one. I still have all the articles, and still have the dream.
  16. Bump
  17. Sounds good.
  18. Going through some things and these are hitting the trading block. 1987 Buick Grand National. No instructions, after going through all the parts it looks complete other than tires. Interior tub and door panels are primed, and everything is Dusty. IMSA Mustang ? Appears to be complete, many parts unpainted. Polar lights snap Batmobile. Complete other than Robin lost an arm. MPC General Lee Charger. Body in primer. No decals AMT SVT Mustang Cobra. Looks complete and unbuilt. I have no idea what I might be looking for. I know, at the moment, I am in need of a Revell 1968 Dart body and hood. Used is fine, as long it can clean up easy. Also a 57 Ford Del Rio Wagon..or two. I need them for donor kits. As far as other things I might like, throw something at me and see if it sticks. ?
  19. Right back at you. Great trades over the years.
  20. Still don't like the yellow lines, but the rest is gorgeous. ?
  21. Lose the wheels Tom. ?
  22. Great job bringing this one across the finish line.
