  1. Fantastic big sleeper Pete, could probably only be used in the western states where there is enough room.
  2. Excellent Freightliner - did you rework the amt kit with Italeri grille and headlights or was this a resin kit?
  3. Very nice rendition of this simple kit,Mario - wheels look good, too !
  4. One question, Gareth - did you cover the tanks with foil?
  5. Very nice builds - I remember lots of fitting problems with my Road Boss with the cab-hood-bumper area back in the 80's. The steel wheels on the Western Star - were they included in the kit?
  6. You show us an absolutely outstanding model of this brutal racer here, Pierre (maybe I should have kept mine...)
  7. Here is my version of the Porsche 907 longtail which was runner-up (2nd place) in 1968 behind the Gulf GT40 of Rodriguez/Bianchi. Driven by the Swiss Steinemann/Spoerry, they beat all the factory 908s. I reworked my old crappy Heller 908 for this one:
  8. Very nice model, Terry - and at the same time a fitting tribute to "Quick Vic" who always wanted to drive the longtail in Le Mans (1969, '70 and '71) and passed away in March 2022.
  9. Very nice, Gary - the wheels make a big difference!
  10. Happy birthday, Luc!

In case you have not noticed: Modelissimo.eu has 18 different models from the Hachette Opelcollection for sale in its online-shop at the moment.

    Greetings

      Thank you Helmut!

About the Opel cars, thanks for the heads up, cuz I haven't checked for a while.

      Cheers,

      Luc

  11. Well done, Terry - looks great !
  12. Very nice model of a rare kit,Terry - looks like the Barchetta with a roof grafted on.
  13. Superb build, Ryan - these kits may be tough to cpmplete, but they are very rewarding and result in excellent models as you proof here. ( I have 19 Enthusiast kits in my stash, among them 4 different 356's, but the only one I'v built so far was a Dino 246 GT)
  14. Well done replica, Mario - this surely will make an excellent addition to the old Peterbilt tanker.
  15. The 1963-65 Riviera is one of the nicest American cars ever built - well done!
  16. Nice work on this one, Al - as I see, there are still no Mack logos in this kit. You cut back the "matlack" decals for Mack on the side of the hood, didn't you?
  17. Thank you all guys, for your nice comments on this oldie - the model itself and the weathering leave a lot to be desired (the "weathering" on the roof of the trailers is simply : DUST ! I didn't wipe it off before taking photos.)
  18. Very nice model - showroom quality - but too nice to be raced: The real Porsche race cars back then had a rather raw looking finish, were never as nice as this one (with the exception of the Penske CanAm racers, maybe)
  19. Excellent build, Rich - as we are used to see from you (no matter what subject).
  20. Keyser is right, Gary - a lowered stance would look much better for a Porsche.

    Mud Trap

Breathtaking dio, Charles - it does look so real: the weathering of the dumper, the different surfaces of the mud - excellent idea !
  22. Beautiful model as always, Mario! Please show us also Dennis Weaver's movie car from "Duel" !!!
