  1. Awesome Daytona - is this Tom Tanner's Scale Design kit? (It looks different than my two unbuilt Italeri kits, but they are stored away so I can't compare yet)
  2. Excellent models from Scott, Gary - especially the 412 P, the '65 7-litre-Ford GT, but also the TR250 and the Cunningham - marvellous!
  3. Very nice collection, Gary - I especially like the 3 white Jaguars.
  4. Together with the Lotus 49 and the Ferrari 312 of the same year, certainly the best looking F 1 racer of the 1960's. And your model - just fabulous ! Almost impossible to tell from the real car - simply perfect !
  5. Very good-looking 910 in after-race-condition. I have never seen a model of this 910 (Hanrioud/Wicky, DNF).
  6. Very well done,Pat - especially also the International Esso tanker - please show us more!
  7. Thanks, fellows, for finding these 2 nice - they are certainly not my best effort.
  8. Thanks, Gary - from your Vettes I would pick the Cunningham Corvette - the classic white livery with double blue stripes suits it very well. Choosing between Cobras is impossible, so I would take the AC Ace.
  9. Thanks, Carl !
  10. I can imagine that - I had this one, too. After checking the kit contents, I sold it off again.
  11. Here are my other Le Mans participants in chronological order - most or all already posted here the other day. 1960: Ferrari GT 250 SWB (modified 1/24 ESCI kit): Noblet/Elde - 6th overall, 3rd in class: 1965: Ferrari 250 LM (1/24 Academy/Minicraft) Dumay/Gosselin 2nd overall 1966: Ford GT40 Mk II (1/24 Fujimi) Miles/Hulme 2nd overall 1966: Alpine Renault A 210 (1/24 Heller) Cheinisse/Delageneste 11th overall, 2nd in class 1967: Ferrari 330 P3/4 AKA 412 P (1/24 Union/Heller re-issue) Müller/Guichet DNF (engine) 1978: Porsche 936/78 (1/24 Tamiya) Barth/Wollek/Ickx 2nd overall 1987: Jaguar XJR-8 LM (1/24 Hasegawa) Watson/Lammers/Percy DNF (accident) Well, that's all for now - I do have several unbuilt Le Mans racers in my stash to do for the future....
  12. Very impressive collection, Tom - the Peugeot 905 seems to be the heavily reworked Heller Kit which has been reissued by Airfix and Gunze-Sangyo. Am I right?
  13. You can't have enough (old) Minis: beside 9 Tamiya, 2 Fujimi and 2 Revell kits (rally, racing, Morris, Austin) I have another die-cast in 1/24: Quattroruote/Leo Models 1972 Innocenti Mini Cooper Mk 3 1300 (license built in Italy) - pics are from 2011 (everything opens here) the green one has been sold off:
  14. Received today from France: 1965 Austin Cooper S (1/24, Hachette):
  15. Here are two more Le Mans winners - both from Le Mans miniatures - not built by myself, but factory-built. An online shop had these on sale for a reasonable price (about half the price of the resin kit), so I went for it: The 1972 winning Matra MS 670, driven by Henri Pescarolo/Graham Hill: and 20 years later (1992). the Peugeot 905 Evo 1 Bis, driven by Yannick Dalmas/Derek Warwick/Mark Blundell: I could never have built these two so well .
  16. Thank you guys for making nice comments on these ugly pickups.
  17. Great looking transtar, Ken!
  18. Fantastic model, Yuri - excellent build -color looks almost like RAL 6011 resedagrün - would also very well suit an European 50's truck. Very delicate details are the mirror brackets - they bring the model to a new level.
  19. You have shown us a lot of outstanding models, Gary - wish I could contribute more (have 2 more LeMans winners, but not built by myself, and some yet unbuilts in my stash) - the 1949 Barchetta is also excellent.
  20. Carving from wood - this is real modeling, Gary - what i have done is just assembling factory-made parts.
  21. Looks perfect - very nice !
  22. Excellent build of a complicated kit - I will be happy if I could manage it like you (I have 4 of these in my stash)
