As usual, a very tasteful build from you, Mario - color suits this one very well.
-
Thank you Rich, I try to avoid red on my Ferrari models most of the time, but these two had to be in red !
-
Sorry, I just read your answer to Kurt....
-
Well done, Rich - I never knew about this Aoshima kit which is way off in proportions compared with the Fujimi EM 246 GTS - what were your base colors for these?
-
Flawless models, outstanding work, fantastic paint jobs and superb photography - as we are used to see from you, Anders !
-
These are from the original Italeri releases - they wer later reissued by Revell AG (Germany).
-
Kurt, there is no trailer - this is simply a straight truck built by Bortoletti/Italy on a Fiat bus chassis for Lucky Casner's Camoradi team, later sold to Carroll Shelby who installed a 3rd axle and used it in 1964 and 65 for his Cobras, later it was used by Alan Mann: here it is in Le Mans 1966 (used by Alan Mann racing team) and finally - restored again (as it was used by the Shelby team for the 1964 European races):
-
Very nice truckload, Gary - which transporter is this? It looks like the former Casner/Shelby/AlanMann racingtransporter - the works 330P2 (#20) DNF, the 2 NART cars are the Rodriguez/Vaccarella 365P2 (7th) and the well-known winning 250 LM. The 250 LM in the forground seems to be the Ecurie Francorchamps car from the 1966 Le Mans race (DNF)

Nice score - I wouldn't have hesitated a second either.
-
Very nice looking Edsel !

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 4door Sedan (1/24, Salvat Mexico)

Thanks, guys - the model comes just like that - the only thing I did to it was applying those old license plates. -
x 2 - superb model !

From Hachette's Mexican series is this '56 Chevy - I only added Virginia plates from a VERY old Autoworld sheet (decals for 2 Mexican 1956/57 plates are included) - model had 2 mirrors (!) and antenna already mounted. Got it last week, took it out for some pictures on this frosty morning - the roof is wider at the rear than at the front - I'm not sure if this is correct, otherwise a nice model: And here, for comparison with its smaller German cousin: 1957 Opel Rekord P1 (from Hachette's German 1/24 Opel series):

Great model, Rich - Mario Andretti would have deserved winning Le Mans too. -

Outstanding build, Gary - with the background, it almost looks real.
