  1. Yep the RS1600. I'll sent you a PM. I don't want to hijack your thread anymore than I already have.
  2. Stephen, here is a picture of the kit.
  3. Very nice Shay. Does Tamiya give you a complete engine? If so how is it?
  4. Thanks Wayne. No doubt this one will see the finish line. Thanks Andy. I'm keeping an eye on several of your WIPs.
  5. Replica & Miniatures has a nice Ford straight six for the Falcon. Sorry I don't recall what the bore & stroke on it is.
  6. I did a wash on the engine block but decided not to on the alternator. Man I wish I knew what kit that alternator came from (found it in a bunch or parts) I would love to have a few more.
  7. Thanks Tommy. It definitely looks better in person than it does in the photos.
  8. Your work is always impeccable Dale. Very nice.
  9. might not seem like much, but the cage fits closer to the body now and I gained a good 3/16-1/4 inch width in there now. 1/4" works out to 6 scale inches so well worth the effort. Nice work.
  10. Very nice work.
  11. Thanks Joe. The engine is my favorite part of the build. Lots of the plumbing and wiring still needs to be installed but it's getting there.
  12. Thanks Gene. No the engine bay is Tamiya Pure White. The underside of the chassis is Tamiya white primer. My camera is struggling with all the black on this build. I keep having to crank up the brightness on the pictures to show the details. That might be why the paint looks a bit muted.
  13. The '29 parts are impressive.
  14. Some better engine photos.
  15. Thanks Shay. Thanks Joe.
  16. I agree the 240Z box art is awesome!
  17. You have my sincere sympathy.
  18. Good engineering/design performs the required function in the simplest way possible.
  19. It's an '02 but the first operator broke about year three. I haven't replaced the 4th one I just don't use that window anymore.
  20. Big burly old race car - yeah I love it!
  21. Chassis and interior painted. Rear axle assembled and painted.
  22. Turned out great Tommy, nice work.
  23. I have a 3-series I bought new. I have replaced 3 out of 4 of the power window operators. The 4th one started making the same ominous noises as the other 3 did. I contacted BMW complaining that it was obviously a manufacturing defect. They disagreed and called the window operators standard wear items that regularly need replacing!!
