  1. How did you get yours, via mail order or local hobby shop? I pre-ordered one with HW Japan, but nothing has been send yet.
  2. I know what you're talking about Marc, close to 10 years ago I was able to buy a mint Airfix '67 GTO, which was no more then a re-boxed Mpc annual for the UK market and was amazed on how much nicer and crispier it was, compared to the last shots which came from that tired tool. more photo's of this kit on the Ultimate GTO website Luc
  3. Uh...Steve...please send all those leftover up-tops to me then!!!!!!!
  4. Chris, the Internet is fast and as a result news soon becomes history, no more no less...
  5. Hmmm, I see you think, "I'm gonna drive this baby out of here, just try to catch me"
  6. Indeed, Bob, most of the 2010 Revell Germany lineup was released to the public on January 1st 2010, but the Amg Mercedes SLS was announced at the Nürnberg trade show.

  8. Huh...the Impala shown is a presumably a test shot, which was probably build in October of last year...a lot can happen before it gets released. Luc
  9. I'm planning some sort of fuel truck, using the albeit shortened body of the trailer kit, on an Amt Ford C-900 (the stake truck) kit. I remember seeing such an old truck on my travels thought the western US, years ago....
  10. Yes IPMS Germany, look there for more details, no pics though....maybe later
  11. Love your build! I haven't seen the kit here locally, but both the open and closed version are on my wish list. Where did you get the wheels localy or via HLJ? keep up the great work! Luc
  12. I wasn't too happy when they re-popped that one, after laying down close to a 100 bucks, for an unbuild original. But then again, sometimes you win and sometimes you don't. Last month or so I even bought the Model King issue, the decals alone are worth the price so I guess I'm over it
  13. Len & Bill, When done, you should propose to Revell to post this online build on their website, so that model builders everywhere can benefit from it. I dunno if your build was done step by step as per the provided instruction sheet, cuz that would be even better to not confuse the novice builder. As you said a picture says more then a thousand words...... Keep up the great work you both! Best regards Luc Ps. if click on my name on the other board you post, you can read, that the aforementioned suggestion is not really new
  14. Mitch...was your car a '67 Model with '68 Fenders (with side reflectors/markers) or did you fill the mounting holes (openings) in the quarter panels. Ether way a neat car indeed!!! Best regards Luc
  15. Yes a perfect body can be done by copying a vintage annual kit, but it all depends on how much limited funds you want to trow at it..
  16. Gerry Thanks so much for posting these photo's!
  17. I think you're on to something...I'm thinking easy snap assembly and molded in color (but no stickers) ....hmm seems the (model car) hobby's gone full circle now, cuz it started out with unassembled promo's....
  18. Great tip!!! Thank you Bill!!!!! Best Regards Luc
  19. Kewl! That puts this kit on my shopping list, cuz I have an earlier version (& a Fleetside too) which has the old unattractive Monogram whitewalls tires, one can find in their '58 T-Bird kit. Thanks for info Randy!! Best Regards Luc
  20. Randy, do the "stock" tires come with sidewall detail? Thx Luc
