  1. Indicators for a '73?
  2. IMHO making the trunklid a separate piece and some body mods could facilitate both models to come out of the same tooling, preferably as the final model year for both. but again is there ROI?
  3. Even tho it's possible, I wonder if there still a market for this kit.
  4. Hmm, sounds like you're looking for a second kit ? Just messing with ya. PS still no sight of the Euro boxing in my neck of the woods. PPS Great review Tim.
  5. One is the US boxing. Then there's the standard Euro boxing and the one with paint, brushes and glue included.
  6. Think the C-stripes make the model pop!
  7. Wondering if there at one point there was also a separate chrome none GT gas cap available in one of the amt annuals, cuz on the Ertl issued AMT Mustang coup I have it's a molded-in feature on the rear panel. BTW that coup eventualy is going to be build like Mike Hammer's car, put a note in that kit, so I won't forget
  8. Think Round-2 got a pretty good idea on how well an AMC kit would sell, just by checking the sales figures of their re-run of the 1/20th scale ex MPC AMX kit. As for Round-2 unable to produce a full detail kit, well just look at their new Charger kit. What I'm trying to say here, have a bit of faith....
  9. Maybe, maybe not, the market ain't what it used to be.
  10. Why the friction, we're all adults, filter the info you like, forget the rest, life is too short for drama, the reason I don't watch reality shows ?
  11. All the results I saw online looked fine, but it doesn't like clear coat, so a black wash for a grille is a no no too, a pity, but doesn't mean the product doesn't has strong points and use in our wonderful hobby.
  12. The big reason as a teen I preferred Monogram kits.
  13. While the Taurus is for 95% a neatly detailed kit, the headlamps sling it back into a self assemble toy. A pitty realy.
  14. Can't be much longer now....
  15. An interesting one too, would be combining the '79 uteline with the '78 sweptside, creating a faux '79 annual kit, preferably a Powerwagon.
  16. I haven't been to car shows on US soil for a while, but from what I remember going to some of them in the past, most showed either top of the line or coups. cars most dreamed of having, but most family guys had to settle buying low or mid optioned 4drs., so wondering what cars attract the most traffic on cars shows today, the cars we'd love to have or the family cars we remember driving or seeing in large numbers on the street back in the day.
  17. The Pro Star kits albeit in a Revell wrapper, sat on the shelves of a major toy retailer here in my neck of the woods, so eventually they blew them out at 1/3rd of retail.
  18. Who knows, maybe they will offer it in the regular paint lineup later?!
  19. Erik, Maybe send a test shot for HPIguys to build.
  20. Think they're both repoped from this Esci tool....
  21. Do hope their normal wheelbase kit, isn't far behind.
