  1. I have.
  2. Dave, Was the street rod, not more or less based on John Mueller's car? Remember going to a local speedshop in the Dubuque area, with him where it was getting rebuild, back in 2005.
  3. At one point in time, Mpc had a workshop interior for the Dodge Van....
  4. Remember the release of the Tamiya MB and the Hasegawa Jag, they also did a few Ferrari's.... fun times
  5. Maybe a good idea for Pegasus to re-release one of the Galaxie gooseneck trailers.
  6. Odd, that Round2 didn't use the more modern tires Amt/Ertl tooled up in the late '80s, like on the Ford Probe and SVO just to name a few, or don't the wheels in this kit fit those? Anyway....when I get my hands on this kit, I'm gonna dig in my tire vault.....
  7. First build in years, skills were rusty, saw it more as a re-learning experience, one of the lessons was not trying to do the maximum, in the too-short bench time. other than that I'm pleased with it, so up to the next kit, which is in primer as I write this.Cheers!
  8. I only know Plato told the story of Atlantis around 360 B.C. The founders of Atlantis, he said, were half god and half human. They created a utopian civilization and became a great naval power. Their home was made up of concentric islands separated by wide moats and linked by a canal that penetrated to the center. The lush islands contained gold, silver, and other precious metals and supported an abundance of rare, exotic wildlife. There was a great capital city on the central island. But they still didn't find it, so no news to report
  9. That's what I said earlier in the tread. In short it takes two to tango
  10. It was the Brainchild of Ernie Petit, but it got nowhere....
  11. Already have the Charger on order.
  12. They had to be at run at Jo-Han due to the specific nature of the tooling. But if the specific to Jo-Han injection molding machines were sold, the tooling even complete is useless and don’t think anyone with a business sense is going to invest in custom made one off equipment.
  13. Funny read the same the other day Anyone have the company address? asking for a friend
  14. a '70-'71 Challenger is also a possibility
  15. would be neat, six additional parts could mean twice the sale, at least to some of us
  16. Worn out, damaged....who knows...
  17. I stand corrected, Tim. In today's world one easily assumes it's all about the money, as in most cases it does. So my apology to the person in question, as he was only concerned about conserving what up until the news broke was one of the best kept secrets in the model kits world. Luc
  18. Here an idea for Round2 for a sibling of the Chevelle Photo courtesy of Jeff Corey! More here, if you're on FB https://www.facebook.com/jeff.corey.5458/posts/pfbid02E9Ssf1gLGpLa2z6fjSDPqYmo2WQmRq8F6dU8zvztv26r8fzZzK56ehwB9WeASjZLl
  19. yes, but Round-2 didn't get their data from copying the wooden masters, they again started from scratch. BTW still find it odd, that the guy asked too much for the use of these, as he as an employee of Amt at the time was paid to make these..., the guys at Round-2 really showed him what it was worth
  20. IIRC The problem with the Caddies, is box size, not box scale. cuz think they were indeed in scale but shortened in some places to make them fit in their standard boxes. Think Mark Budniewski can explain further.... But concerning the GTX and RR, you got my vote! IMHO the first one should be a '70 and later the earlier models so the market knows these are all new bodied kits. JMHO
  21. Well....logic in todays world Mark....sometimes I wonder
