  1. Or wait, till Moebius releases one, cuz they do their homework and incorporate multiple versions on their tooling designs.
  2. Great box-art!
  3. wonder if it comes with batteries
  4. Same to you, your loved ones, and of course all folks here on the MC Forum as well. Merry Christmas!!!!
  5. Looks like '22 is going to be an awesome year for us automotive modelers.
  6. Sorry, didn't know. But now I think we kinda understand why Amt went belly up in the late '70s..
  7. Plastic in those day's must have been expensive, that welding gates off was cheaper then the cost of the amount of plastic which filled the cavities during a run. Kinda makes me think back on the elimination of the red clear taillites where they could've been added to the regular clear tree.
  8. You can always repost them in a new reply, provided that you still have the pics handy.
  9. I've wrote this time and time again, but IMHO this gen of GM pickups is ready for a complete series of new kits, same for the Dodge's of that same era. The manufacturer who tackles this could not only spread the investment via the plethora of possible different releases, but also by looking at voids in other segments of the hobby, like 1/35 armor 1/32 & 1/48 planes, (CUCV's) Revell tools and sells models in all segments of the hobby, thus would be manufacturer of my choice, tho Round-2 would be able to to the same if they partner up with Italeri. If only I could win the Euro millions jackpot Just my 2 cents, now back to my modelling bench. Cheers Luc
  10. Hope it sells well and finances in part the wrecker body, of which the CAD drawings were shown at the Detroit show.
  11. Didn't you built one, cuz your name popped up in my head when reading the announcement.
  12. Chris built got me excited, this one is on my shopping list, options galore, what more can one wish for....
  13. A December release....so it says on the Italeri website, and you can order it there too! Cost €200 sans shipping. https://www.italeri.com/en/product/2991
  14. Ther goes my grand plan
  15. I for one am glad that Moebius finally stepped up to make these trucks more desirable (for me anyway) I like building options, it's like back in the day going to a car/truck dealer filling in the order sheet checking the option boxes to have the ride you wanted.
  16. Yes and no.... The tires were Aoshima's to begin with, but some of the kits had LHD resin dashes included, the dashed btw were scratch-build by a modeler who posts here, dunno who did the casting. In short A.S. had their own tires tooled and bought in bulk Aoshima tires to be packaged and sold under their own label..
  17. I seem to remember.... that they to make the body shine, as in no paint needed to build it, the fine folks of Monogram fed the molding machines using a mix of clear and colored pellets, making it more brittle, certainly when aging.
  18. My thoughts exactly, this is really a fun kit packed with so much stuff, ones imagination can go wild on how to build it, IMHO more much more kits should be packed with lotsa options. Yeah, I'm definitely gonna pick this one up when available here, bang for the buck too! BTW about the 4cyl cough cough, sorry Chris couldn't help it , I mean the Stovebold six, can one use that engine in a fifty seven Chevy?
  19. yep
  20. yep, and same story for me.
  21. Yes! always wanted the T/A! Wonder how the chrome out of this new spray can will turn out
  22. With the whole Brexit deal, it could be they're still sitting on the docks somewhere.
  23. Revell Germany has it's tooling made in China but produces in Poland. So it will be interesting to see on how they will proceed with the '71 Mustang, as ( correct me if I'm wrong) this will be the first all new tool under the new management of which the product is primarly for the NA market.
