  1. Would like that, they could crank out a couple of versions even a '69 is not out of the question, but how would the market want it, the same as the original with minor improvements like clear headlamps or the same MO as Ertl did with the 70? I'm all ears! BTW September 2nd Round-2 is going live on YouTube, maybe interesting to voice your opinion and expectations to them then. Only 3 days left to prepare yourself asking the right questions, voicing concerns, giving praise etc.... Cheers Luc
  2. Sure, built that kit as a kid back in the '80s, the Kenia Safari version, still have it somewhere. The reason I wondered is, that it's an iconic Japanese vehicle, one that became a serious competitor for Land Rover & Jeep in the off road segment of the automotive biz, no more no less.....
  3. Let the opening doors etc to diecast models
  4. Ah didn't know the new one is also an FJ, cuz I mean this one FJ40
  5. Find it odd that Tamiya or any other Japanese model kit manufacturer for that matter, don't have a Toyota FJ Landcruiser in their line-up.
  6. See above post (forgot you in the quotes)
  7. Went the way you're suggesting.. Thanks all for your input!
  8. Can't Revell bring all 4 in one box? Or would licensing up the msrp too much? About the HD-Ford F series set, I have to say that besides the bike, I like the way the R-M engineers designed the front clip with seperate grille insert, something I wish they would've done with that whole gen of F150's as it enabels the builder to achieve better cleaner builds IMHO
  9. I'm thinking mid sixties Olds '88 or so....
  10. Did an Olds enter the '64 Monte Carlo rally? I knew of the Ford Falcon, hint of things to come?!
  11. Looking forward to this kit, also congrats to Steve!
  12. Looks like a August release, whether it's in Europe or the US, no idea. Revell Modellbau - Offizielle Website von Revell Deutschland | Neuheiten 08/2021
  13. The 81 Camaro also could be the ex-Monogram 1/24th scale snap-tite!
  14. Kinda wonder if the Toronado/Californian tool has some gates welded off, if yes, could be a parts goldmine when put into production unblocked. Anyone in the know?
  15. They don't need to backdate it, but improve reverse engineer it, that way they can fix some of the irregularities on the body sides which are leftovers from the initial release, cuz they had to grind further into the side cavities to erase the side windows and trim. But I'm with you that the pre-facelift Dodge Van looks way better and hopefully many more folks do so, to bring the topic to the attention to the folks of Round-2.
  16. Is it the ex Polar Lights or the Amt/Ertl kit? BTW The windows are damped, are they smoking pot inide?!
  17. Build a new one and put them side by side in your display kabinet, "then and now"
  18. Hope Dave Burket saw the potential in some of the Fireball products.....cuz he can set things in motion...
  19. Ditto for the Sierra's always preferred the sedans over the "scuba dive" front-end hatchbacks.
  20. beautiful build! This kit is on my wish list.
  21. A new model kit manufacturer? And they say the hobby is dying, Ha!
  22. Since these trailers are insulated, I guess the temp stay's more or less constant, as oppose to regular trailers which can heat up like a furnace when driving through the desert states, no?!
  23. From an old French movie...... Le petit Baigneur - En arrière toute - Bing video
  24. In the review of the tractor I noticed that that kit also has decals to use on a trailer, so no need to buy the Fruehauf, just go for the Great Dane, unless your a box-art collector.
