great on that decision..... I think the reason for many guy's having such interest in this build of yours in general is that this particular kit is a tough one to bring the best out in it,,,, because as we all know, by today's standard's there are better 69 Camaro kit's. To see a project massaging a truly old school piece and working it all the way is really neat to see.....I'll be waiting to see this one... 'under glass'......the Ace....

....just checking in on your build for the first time in a couple of weeks, and Joe, it's looking boss.....this is going to be very nice, because so far everything is going soooo nicely,,,,oh, as for skinny front's, I'll vote yes on that note......great work.....the Ace....

....I built your original back in 1982 as a super/ stocker when we didn't have these newer kit's for donor part's, but I really don't know what will or won't swap....the newer kit is much better in most other area's except the body....the original is great IMO.....the Ace....

Tom, you have an original AMT 66 annual Fairlane GT body, and a nice find that is. They are very crisp and beautifully molded, however the newer issue part's are not interchangeable in some area's. I know from being on ebay even recently, that one of the resin sellers make's replacement hood's and such for this body. However, fitting your newer issue hood to be used is possible by adding plastic strip's to the edge's, then when satisfied, filing and sanding all to fit. I have used this method with great success on other car's in the past. Hope any of this helps.....the Ace.../////// the ebayer is t. m. resin, and presently he has 67 original hood's for sale, stock and tear drop, but it's worth an email to him as I think he make's 1966 hood's for your application as well.....the Ace..

.......thanks for that info,,,,you know, after seeing the box art from the SHIFTY SEVEN, I wonder if using it as the reissue may have been a better selling point for Round2.....that box art seems to be a lot harder to find than FLASHBACK.........I wonder........the Ace...

........much as I am a big Round2 fan and such, not sure if this was a great choice of kit's to reissue.....at today's prices and the fact that these are quite easy to grab online, I am skeptical on this one....not trying to rain on anyone's parade, just sayin'...............the Ace.....

they are plastic models.....and intended for building pleasure....you can't take them with you, so enjoy yourself and build them.....I admit that I build far less than back thru the year's, but if collector's and so called purist's knew or saw the cello I cracked open on 60's and 70's car's and built thru the 80's and up, they would die. get your work bench ready,,,,and have fun.........the Ace....

.......Just thought I would ask our always informed member's if someone could school me on the general detail's and content's of a 1995 issue of the AMT 56 FORD, that was apparently sold in a plain white shipping box in the 1995-96 era I'm told......wondered if all the custom and race part's were there, slick's, decal's, etc....thanks in advance......the Ace...

......the back up light deal I am aware of, the other info you state is something I must look into after coffee and such this morn....I have one MPC 67 Vette mib so I will check out both........the Ace...

....I would think that all the AMT glass for any 63 to 67 Vettes of any issue will interchange,,,,I have a 64 annual and the latest 63 issue, and they fit either car, and over the year's I have had other AMT issues and think all seemed to be the same. Now, I have an MPC 67 Vette, and believe the MPC glass may be a touch smaller all round, but would have to check......the Ace,,,,,
