  1. Wow, really clean and nice. Emblems, flags, scripts, dash detail - all perfect. Is the "CORVETTE" on the nose a decal? If not, how do you do that???
  2. Great pictures of a beautiful build. Looks awesome in the sun.
  3. Picture perfect. Every one. Beautifully done.
  4. What a great post. I love the "he couldn't wait to show everybody" comment. That's what we all do here! That wonderful feeling of accomplishment and pride in your work. Well done to your boy!
  5. Beautiful. Clean and nice all around. I love that color combo too.
  6. Glad you took the pictures before everyone started crowding around it...
  7. Gotta love the show rods. And what better way to celebrate the start of summer? Well done.
  8. Wow. That's just gorgeous from every angle. Well done.
  9. Agreed, this is a nice kit of what is, IMHO, the best Impala year ever. I would think that the lighter cream or white colors would be very challenging to paint, but yours came out looking great. Nice job with those front fender emblems too. They really pop against that Ivory color.
  10. The "Shelf of Doom". I love that. Gotta get me one. Much better than the concrete "wall of death" which is where some of my mistakes have gone. (at rather high velocities, I might add) That being said, glad to see this S.O.D survivor - the end result was worth it.
  11. AMT/ERTL release of the 1966 Riviera. Nice kit overall, but I didn't really care for the tires with their plastic whitewall inserts, so I used after market tires. And not really sure of the accuracy of the chrome, dual snorkel air cleaner, as most of the pics and vids that I've seen show a single snorkel with the "Wildcat 465" decal. The dual snorkel does look nice, though. Paint: Tamiya TS-42 Light Gun Metal and TS-13 clear from the can. Riviera Emblems: Keith Marks decals Custom License Plate: Best Model Car Parts Tires: Ted's Modeling Marketplace Thanks for looking!
  12. Beautiful. Love that first pic of the two Camaros - perfect color/stripe combos.
  13. You picked quite the subject for your first foiling job - chrome everywhere. It looks good in the cabinet.
  14. My favorite year Chevelle - even if it did have one of the goofiest tach placements ever, as your work accurately shows. Pretty nice work after 22 years!
  15. Very nice. Really like the dashboard detail. Great color combo too.
  16. The level of detail and all of the effort you put in to make it your own is amazing. Beautiful work.
  17. Great model, but I really love your workshop. Looks like you have a great place to get away from it all and BUILD! Awesome car collection. What are the cans?
  18. Yes, the "quick build" show rods can be anything but. Yours came out great, as evidenced by the fact that I can't even see what gave you all the trouble with the roof. Looks good. Nice job.
  19. Decals - and the rest of the build - look fine to me.
  20. The build looks great (love that color...) but what really caught my eye was how perfectly done the scripts and flags are on the front fenders. Wondering how you accomplished that.
  21. As I said in another thread, close up digital pics are unforgiving. I can't see anything in yours except beautiful, clean, work. Fabulous job from every angle.
  22. Worth the wait! Close up pics are unforgiving and it's just clean, clean, clean. Nicely done.
  23. Nice. I did the Monogram '65 Impala a few years ago- also in MCW Willow Green - for exactly the same reason that you did your '66. Our parents had good taste!
  24. I, too, love that color. It goes so well with those wheels. I marvel at how many models you create - it seems like every few weeks I'm looking at something new and nice from you. Your shelves must be overflowing!
