  1. Just did a quick polish stripe on the middle of the roof of this '61 at low speed with Novus #2... Now,... I can't see this tool cutting thru a steel axle...it's not meant for that..... low speed low torque ! But as far as polishing and drilling distributors without melted plastic build up...it's perfect for me.
  2. Well, like I said some days ago, The one I showed will go down to 1500 rpm ....cordless rechargeable, just what you were looking for....
  3. only if it is already a variable speed tool The reason yours is burning through paint is it's rpm are too high
  4. That full side shot is perfect ! Nice engine detailing...all around Nice!!
  5. If the tool doesn't have variable speed,a rheostat should work, if it does, there is a risk of burning out the tool prematurely....
  6. You're getting a beautiful finish on that paint Daniel ! Whole thing is looking Great!
  7. Really nice stuff here Jim. (2thumsup)
  8. We got updates... Interior coming along...masked and sprayed with CraftSmart 4 separate times...still need to BMF some things..Going to Dundas Valley Hobbies tomorrow...wish my wallet RIP Yay! the Rad fits wasn't sure ..mixing the 409 from the '59 kit.. And also used 1000g sandpaper to get through the paint to the scripts on the hood Can't wait to bmf those body scripts tomorrow............. Later
  9. When the mood strikes you, it'll be back.. (Love this truck!)
  10. I'm using this rechargeable, takes all the dremel bits...and the variable speed can be selected in between clicks to get it down to about 1500-2000 rpm ...perfect for polishing....around $70.00 everywhere...($65 on the jungle website)
  11. Very cool ...funny, I was just rummaging thru the 'Paddy wagon' as you posted this up... Well done
  12. Nice ! Yep,while I'm waiting on decals ... and paint to dry...might as well pull out that '32 5 window I chopped a decade ago.... Both of those look GREAT !
  13. More done to the Impala Started on the interior And this,...? got to make something better than that king pin...blagh
  14. Time to get that Jumbo ruler out Tim....
  15. Ziggy turned 4 January 19th...she is a doll...found her running wild downtown at 5 months old...leashed her up and brought her home. There is protocol for found dogs, call all humane societies (SPCA) within 50 miles, call all pet shops in the same vicinity... and wait 3 months...no one was looking for her so she became mine. The first time I left her to go to work, she ate part of my indoor fig tree..now she gets to hang out only in the kitchen with her kennel blocking the entrance to the other rooms. Love seeing all the dog owners here...how do you keep the dog hairs from floating into your wet paint...??
  16. 3rd times the charm Mark. 👍

I don't know how I missed this one Charles. Totally had me fooled into thinking the first pictures were research into what you wanted to achieve. Fantastic details and paint work is top notch. Cheers
  18. Nice job getting that beast of a kit together Bruce. Nice job on the paint and decals...very clean ! I have the same kit still 1/2 finished sitting in its box....lol
  19. Gorgeous !! That is one sweet Chevelle Tom.
  20. Crisp and clean detailing there Tom...and the clear laid down beautifully for ya.!
  21. Great topic and builds Phil. I have 3 variations of '30s hot rods in different states of progress. Never having built one to completion, I really appreciate you showing all of your excellent mods and kit bashing. It helps narrow the vision to what can be done. Cheers
  22. Awesome car, awesome build (2thumsup)
  23. No...you get the same results, brush painting....lol 🤩 Thanks for checking it out Pierre
