Nice work on the Avro Lancaster Hugh. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum has one of the last, flying Lancasters, and you can hear it coming for miles. They do flyovers almost every weekend in the summer months.

I have accomplished this by thinning down the stripe colour and running a pin wash around the recessed ring... A couple of coats and the colour strengthens... Good luck

If you ran two out of each side to the muffler and a single shorty tilted over the rears, ..might get away with it... Watchin

This And cutting the tub apart to facilitate masking and spraying...over primered plastic, is a must...in my opinion.
