  1. Yep!! I had that one in my matchbox collection too. I thought that paint color looked familiar.
  2. Wow, that picture brings back some good memories. We had a similar one in my home town years ago. Thanks for the pic Joe. ?
  3. Looking good Ken. I’m watching.??
  4. Saw RUSH live in Pittsburgh on they’re “Roll The Bones” tour. RIP Neil. ?
  5. 88 Ford ranger shortbed that someone had swapped in a Chevy 350 with a Hurst shift kit, ford 9 inch rear and fender well headers. They had taken out the brake booster to make room for the engine, which left only drum brakes. Went like stink in a straight line, but braking, not so much!! I owned it for about 2 weeks and sold it. That thing was FAST, but to scary for my taste.
  6. I’ve done just that. It works great!?
  7. I’d be in for 1 or 2. I love old buses. ?
  8. Outstanding build Hermann!! I have been following your build thread from the beginning. Love the detail work. ??
  9. Very true. Your righ. You might be able to come up with some sort of clamp system to hold an insert / tool holder, but you could forget about any kind of accuracy. With no way of touching off and no cross feed. I wouldn't try it. I've tried some pretty sketchy stuff on my lathe at work, and still have all my fingers.
  10. For harder metals, yes. That is too fast, but for aluminum, you have to use higher speeds to get a smoother finish. Aluminum doesn't "cut" like regular metals. It's an alloy. It has to be sliced. Try using a regular cutting insert to machine aluminum, and it will look horrible when your done.
  11. Have they finished it yet? Last I saw, they were gonna miss the SEMA show with it.
  12. I didn't think it looked too bad from the pic. That shade of red looks GOOD on that T-bolt.? What color did you use on the rims? Is it straight silver? It has a nice subdued look. I can never get BMF to co- operate myself. I've waisted more money trying to get it to work, but between the adhesive being less tacky, and my fat fingers, not a good combo. Good work so far.
  13. Most kids would probably hop on it and ride it around the store. Probably some alleged adults too.
  14. X2!! Nice build. The rims and color work great together.?
  15. I didn't care one bit for his older sister. Still don't. But He will be missed.
  16. Just found out now. RIP man...
  17. Same here Ken!! Looking forward to our next trade.
  18. Keep an eye on that card for future small charges like that. That's how it starts. If someone hacked your card, they try to charge small stuff like that to see if you catch it. If not, it gets worse. Wife's Cabellas card got hacked, shut it down, and they gave us a temp card number over the phone till the new card came in. Got a notification THAT number had been hacked/ used even before we got the new card!! Lady from the card company said we were responsible for the charges!! The only 2 people who knew of the new # were the wife, and the card company...... We told them quite clearly where they could stuff that card AND the bogus charges....
  19. Oohhhhhh, I LIKE that. Sharp aircraft and sharp build sir!! ?? I'm currently working on the 109 G-6
  20. Thanks Ken for a great trade. Always a pleasure. ?
  21. Those look GREAT Ray!! My late father and me did one of the last supper. They are relaxing, and fun. Nothing Sissy about them. I love that second one ALOT.???
  22. WOW!!! I just flashed WWWAAYYY back to my favorite hobby shop in the early 70's. That's the last time I saw all those kits in one place. VERY nice stash man!!!
