  1. Love the old Mack with the emblems falling off.
  2. Thank you. That was very informative.
  3. I've looked into this product more by searching on this forum and elsewhere and I plan to order some through scalefinishes.com Judging by photos, It seems to have the potential to be as good or nearly as good as Alclad, and much better than any spray chrome. In fact, some of the results, like those from Art Anderson and the C1 website are amazingly good.
  4. Wow, excellent all the way around. Love the under hood detail. Where did you get the tires?
  5. Has anyone here ever used C1 buffing metalizer powder? c1-models.com - I'm curious to try it. I wonder if this may be an option. I think there may have been a mention in Model Cars Mag sometime recently in the new products area.
  6. I just gave mine a long hard look at multiple angles and it looks good - it isn't bowed or warped. I even compared it to photos of the real thing and it looks fine.
  7. I haven't noticed that with my missing link kit (still in the box) but I haven't looked for that issue. I will check. Still a fantastic kit of a really neat subject. The ultimate one, though, would be the 75-78 LTD wagon - Standard or country squire.
  8. That is one cool build, absolutely love the old dodge motorhome, especially the underside detail including the black and grey water drain plumbing.
  9. Does the 3D printed surface have a slight grain to it? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember reading that the surface needs to be really smooth for Alclad just like chrome plating. I haven't used Alclad yet, but I have some along with an airbrush I haven't used either. I really need to just jump in and try it. I really hope the project works out well for you.
  10. Very realistic, I like the "fleet look" you've done so well.
  11. I agree. Moluminum is one of the best, if not the best source of the finest quality aftermarket parts, and Jamie's service is top notch.
  12. Really really great work. Any in progress photos?
  13. Great work, love the added touches.
  14. Thanks for posting this. Curious that the tires are the same for steer and drive. I wonder if that was common back then or maybe just for the sample truck in the brochure?
  15. Just the right amount of grime and weathering. Perfect.
  16. I like the idea of aftermarket bumpers.
  17. That is a nice clean truck, great work!
  18. Love the paint scheme on that 352.
  19. Wonderful work. I'd pick up a resin copy. You did an amazing job on the 78 LTD. Have you ever considered a 78 LTD wagon?
  20. One of the most unique loads I've seen! What a great build.
  21. I had the same experience ordering direct. I was hesitant at first, but I was pleased in the end. I'm thinking about making another order.
  22. Plano Model Products planomodelproducts.com has really nice photo etched brass/stainless Apex, Morton, and Peterbilt new style oval pattern grille sheets for 1/24 and 1/25 trucks. It is found on their website under HO scale - scratch builders materials. Ben at Class A Resin also has grille detail sets for Kenworth and Peterbilts, if that is what you're building.
