  1. This kit was designed at AMT during the company's dark ages. I think the 1955 Corvette came before this 1953.
  2. I am excited about the 1964 Boo as well
  3. Modelhaus used to sell bezels for bigger headlights. Thet being said, Revell and AMT 1959 can offer rplacement bezels. When AMT reissued this kit in 1967, they removed the separate bezels, added removable hardtop, eliminated the trunk and called it Trophy series. Along with it came the 1961 Galaxie convertible also then called it a Trophy series.
  4. While there is no motor and simple chassis and interior, this kit approximates the AMT body fairly well,
  5. are those glass pack mufflers correct? I thought they used flat oval mufflers
  6. I will be dead by then and won't care about kits
  7. True statement, I think $80 is too much for this kit.
  8. AMT may have remove the red taillights about 1977 . I suspect AMT was going to do a Countdown series kit of the 1963 Impala. Maybe the strike at AMT changed new kit plans. The red tail lights were in the Chevelle Drag Combo with that 63 Impala as the tow car.
  9. The Lindberg is a blatant copy of the MPC , Hart's Parts has the stock hood.
  10. I've had 5 of the 1972 Roadrunner and all were red plastic My 71s were white plastic including the GTX
  11. Gil, How much do the FMR-188 hubcaps and rings cost?
  12. And my reissue 69 Camaro had an OHC six that chevy USA never had
  13. You must use skinny tires in this Revell Corvette. There is no room between the axle and the body
  14. MPC reissues of 1969 Camaros and Firebirds leave a lot to be desired. The Camaro HT has a Pontiac engine
  15. There was more than one Bond 71 Mustang. Another had a small block 302 or 351
  16. 1961 and 1962 Vettes have stingray rearends
  17. Yes, I used the Revell 1960 Headlight bezels on the AMT 1962 Corvette
  18. nice job
  19. Can you put imogene Coca on the roof? Or the dog tied to the bumper?
  20. This kit is a re-issue of the annual 1967. The price is $2.25 which is the 1971-1973 prices of AMT kits during that period. Inside the box everything is the same as 1967 annual.
  21. I don't think that the leftover Revell 1963 Impalas are worth $60-80
  22. This was in the movie movie "For Those Who Think Young"
  23. Very nice work. The colors are nice.
