  1. I started eBay in August of 1998. Back then it was a bunch of people peddling stuff they didn't need any more. Now it is more of professional stores online with much higher prices. EBay doesn't want peddlers any more anyway. Every single opened box kit has something missing. Why do I feel like it is my responsibility to find out what is cleverly missing. These kits are the leftovers of parts foraging of creative modelers.
  2. George Toteff's tool and die shop for mold repair, and were forgotten there. Code for non payment.
  3. Missing Link made a resin 1976 Trans Am. It's very nice. I don't believe he is making any more so you must find somebody willing to sell theirs.
  4. The kit engine ain't that bad, is it? It is that bad. Compare it to the 1964 Impala with its 409. The valve covers are a funky shape. The last issue of the amt 63 impala was the drag set with the the Chevelle funny car which had no engineSome time in the mid seventies AMT re-engineered this kit fo maybe another Countdown kit? ERTL brought it back from the dead in the Prestige series.
  5. Besides the rear chassis screws, some parts of the annual kit did not come back in the reissues
  6. More likely 1973 "Gone in Sixty Seconds" Eleanor .The best Eleanor in my opinion.
  7. Both the 1966 and 1965 Galaxie kits are nice. The 427 Cammer engine was probably going to be offered to the public to satisfy homologation racing rules . Just like the Boss 429 was never put in a 1970 Torino or Cyclone. AMT had already produced the kit.
  8. Thos posts look like screw chassis posts from promo?
  9. True statement Most paint removers are caustic that also eats the aluminum used to relpicate chrome plating as well as the paint
  10. I just bought this 68 Coronet kit. I was impressed with the interior door panels that are much better than the original kit. In fact, the engine bay and chassis are better as well.
  11. When I built it in the '60s, the tailgate was interfered by the bumperguards
  12. Anybody notice the Chevelle Time Machine funny car in the background?
  13. Despite the paint, the chrome was very nice.
  14. I wish Round2 restored the sunvisors
  15. Is this and original 1966 Mustang with the add-on vinyl roof ? Looks great.
  16. I have the convertible version of this kit. A round 2 1970 Z28 kit may upgrade this kit.
  17. If Round2 turned this into a real 68 Impala, I would buy one
  18. How can they have a 1970 Olds 442? It was a Johan that is now dead
  19. I understood that the Barris ZZR had lots of cardboard and plywood underneath. He was a film prop master. He made things appear to be real that were downright fake.
  20. No, but maybe some plastic office ceiling panel for a realistic hood or front grille.
  21. I am sorry that the Revell 69 SS396 is disappointing to some. I have never seen a perfect kit from anybody. AMT has made some whopper misstakes and everybody just fixed them by themselves.
  22. Where did these nice taillights come from?
  23. I have the Otaki 1972 Thunderbird
