tHE PMC stuff was primarily toys, even sold in the supermarket. havivg said that, styrene can be britle an break easy. Acetate and other rubbery type msterials survive child's play but warp in the end.
Dave, I am not sure how this came about, but I purchased a lot of nice 4 tire sets off ebay. They were the thin whitewalls from the 65 Plymouth. Absolutely beautiful and work with my other projects. Is this ever going to happen again?
I don't believe this kit will give you problems. It was never converted to a funny car or have the body chassis posts removed like other kits MPC tried to save money on a new tool. I see it is a straight reissue of the original.
Most dealers such as Tower pay about 60% of list price. If they work as a distributer it can be 45% and 10 more. Sounds like a lot but expenses and shipping can eat that up. Plus some stuff can sit on the shelf for a long time if it turns out to be a bad seller.
