  1. tHE PMC stuff was primarily toys, even sold in the supermarket. havivg said that, styrene can be britle an break easy. Acetate and other rubbery type msterials survive child's play but warp in the end.
  2. It's looked like that without the zooming. I am surprised anybody but me would use a Mass plate LOL.
  3. Joe, you did a great job on this kit.
  4. Jan , what state plates are on the back of your Road Runner?
  5. You grafted a common 70 442 roof on the Revell?
  6. You have a very nice collection. Didn't realize how rare they are.
  7. That figures, the stuff you like is unavailable as time progresses.
  8. Dave, I am not sure how this came about, but I purchased a lot of nice 4 tire sets off ebay. They were the thin whitewalls from the 65 Plymouth. Absolutely beautiful and work with my other projects. Is this ever going to happen again?
  9. I don't believe this kit will give you problems. It was never converted to a funny car or have the body chassis posts removed like other kits MPC tried to save money on a new tool. I see it is a straight reissue of the original.
  10. Great work Randy. I think these Camaros are forgotten. They look great.
  11. How id you flatten the trunks to make a convertible?
  12. The key is your cost of living. Might not be able to survive in a high cost area.
  13. http://www.buzzfile.com/business/Model-Haus-217-864-4402 What I found out about the business
  14. Most dealers such as Tower pay about 60% of list price. If they work as a distributer it can be 45% and 10 more. Sounds like a lot but expenses and shipping can eat that up. Plus some stuff can sit on the shelf for a long time if it turns out to be a bad seller.
  15. Seems to be a floating USPS discount of about 10-14% that changes without notice or reason.
  16. The Triumph from the AMT '62 hardtop kits would be nice to see too.
  17. The black Camaro is very snazzy
  18. Or lacquer over enamel?
  19. I agree, looks like 2 paints interacting poorly.
  20. MPC CHEVY STEPSIDE PICKUP MODEL KIT #1-0441 WITH MOTORCYCLE! 1/25 SCALE -1974 . The Yamaha dirt bike had chrome handle bars and exhaust. Just checked eBay and found one.
  21. I am glad they have a 48 coupe since the IMC is a difficult one to make good. It might be interesting to see a '42 variation someday.
  22. No chrome on these bikes? I remember the MPCs had chrome exhausts and handlebars, or is my memory bad?
