  1. I am guessing the original '69 Barracuda had a HEMI and slant six, and now it has a wedge 383? My feeling is that you will never see an all new kit from Round2, or a heavily modified reissue. Retro boxes and restored parts are about what I expect.
  2. If Round2 reissued just one of those kits it would be nice.
  3. You have the correct wheel well moldings. Are those tail lights from Shawn Carpenter, or decals? They sure look good.
  4. Yeah, the Skyliner plastic roof is really a prototype of the Amana Radar Range microwave oven.
  5. My definition of a gluebomb is when the glass is hopelessly fused to the body. Your Lincoln seem pretty good.
  6. What did the tires look like from the kit? Pad printed lettered or white walls?
  7. ACE, what are the tires like? Printed?
  8. I noticed the reissued ERTL '74 Barracuda is a former Super Stocker as the wheel wells are still a bit funky. Did MPC modify any other annual kits?
  9. Monogram 1/24? I has more detail than the MPC 1/25. Or, is it some other kit?
  10. I bought a 1968 MPC Coronet HT for that contest. My attempt sucked and I threw it in the trash. I wish I had kept it. Maybe I could have fixed it.
  11. There are still tons of Opalas in Brazil. Basically it's an Opel with a Chevy 6 but some are SSs. Gas is expensive there.
  12. has to be the new tool, nobody will accept the old one
  13. That decal is all new but resembles the 1970s Street Shaker set
  14. Bill, apparently you correct. I think the estimate of $100 is about right. It is a very nice unbuilt kit and shows all the parts mostly on the trees. A lot have been garbage that went for $40-60 range.
  15. I bought the kit a month ago, and believe it or not, have not opened it yet.
  16. Get a Starsky and Hutch Torino and replace the guts
  17. Executive replaced Star Chief in '66 or '67. Middle model trim.
  18. We used to see tons on Parisiennes in New England. Visitors from Quebec.
  19. Round2 has all the basics including a convertible boot. All they need is a few extra parts and the visors.
  20. I do not like those that lock threads. To me, it is a rude method to silence others after they have made their point.
  21. I wouldn't throw that model away. Some people like to rain on a parade.
  22. The 2+2 emblems are worth giving the kit a try. But there is a lot of cutting to do.
  23. FYI, there are no ESSO stations in the USA, but I see ESSO stuff at the stations once in a while. It's all the same company, but due to a anti-trust suit over 100 years ago, it is illegal to use ESSO name in all the states.
