  1. According to Atlantis, "We have the body mold."
  2. How did you get this photo? Is it something Atlantis turned up?
  3. Oh, I can remember some blistering reviews in Car Model over some poorly rendered funny cars and pro stocks back then (although they didn't name the makers, I think the pro stock writeup was about Jo-Han). Paging Chief Joseph - if anyone can do stock '70 dog dish hubcaps, he can. And if anyone wants the color-keyed wheel covers for the '70, I have a mold from Tom P. - one of his last projects; let me see if I can get a good set out of it.
  4. Auction ends in just under two weeks; I'm looking for cars that are potential flippers or keepers (and in one case, yard art!). There's another two that would make good model projects: https://bid.bidfastandlast.com/ui/auctions/49067/3457926 https://bid.bidfastandlast.com/ui/auctions/49067/3443005
  5. Made the chassis and bumpers fit the Skylark, pretty much. Looks like if I glue in the firewall just at the top and let it cure, I can pull in the sides by gluing the ends of the firewall to them.
  6. Rolls Royce Silver Wraith: And "Rolls Royce Silver Wraith" (I swear this is how the junkyard lists it):
  7. So far, it bonds quite well if the surface is roughed up a bit.
  8. Very very good idea - I bet you could do it with Bondic as well.
  9. '70 Bonneville. Better get into your flame retardant underwear before the U.S. Pontiac buffs wake up!
  10. Got the last '63 Rivi wheelcover de-molded, along with some others, including (finally) ONE usable knockoff for the 1/24 T-bird wires . To muddle with something else, I tackled fitting the bumpers and Craftsman chassis to the AAM resin '66 Skylark. Hoo boy. Got some definite warping/spreading issues there. I'll have to dig out my Mod Stocker body to see where to tweak this thing; and Snake, yes, I already fixed the hump in the driver's door. Maybe if I'm lucky this will drive me back to finishing the '65 Nova.
  11. The friend/boss asked me to go through this CA desert auction list to see if there was anything worth bidding on. Looked through dozens and dozens of cars, and spotted this oddball. If you want to do something different with the Trumpeter '64 Ranchero, you could take a whack at it:
  12. Got the NOS '63 Riviera engine yesterday; noticed there was some kind of name on the custom finned valve covers, but when I looked very closely it was just random letters. Odd... maybe they couldn't get permission from the maker in time for production.
  13. I've seen plastic sanding sticks that have small peel-and-stick bits of sandpaper that roll onto the tip in a cone shape - probably at Hobby Lobby or Hobby Town USA.
  14. I searched my posts under keywords Tempest, Bondic, and hood.
  15. One of these days I'll bite the bullet and get the custom parts from a '64 - I'd like to use half of that rear roll pan turned vertical with one of those delicate grilles as a custom front end on a '40 Ford.
  16. What's that sweet gold coupe that resembles a modified Corvair?
  17. You got it: (No adverse effects from the Bondic, btw.)
