thanks to everyone that joined up this year for the 2021 BRBO, and with just a few months left were getting close to picking a winner ! I planned making a complete list of those who entered..and then I slacked off that didn't happen sorry. I did just take a stroll thru the Under glass section ,and found 10 completed builds !! The list of finishers up this point are... Mopar-D Dan Gurney AAR Cuda hauler Bronze keg- Autocar dump truck casey 429 - IH F4270 carstruck4you - KW L924 logger Oldmopars - Freightliner Sam I Am - GMC Crackerbox Dutzie - Ford CL 9000 Driptroit 71 - Ford T8000 doorsovdoon - KW Aerodyne coe landman - 1938 GMC car hauler if I missed anyone, please let me know ! I see plenty of builds still in progress, including mine so there's a chance for another record finish ! Jeff -

Looking good !!! -
Nice color combo ! It's a great fitting kit

Weird the only photos I took before making a complete mess..usually I take dozens lol The clean side before adding the brockway hood emblems . And the intake plumbing done before vmf clamps were attached The crud definitely looks awful, but cleans off leaving a cool dusty vibe . I'm not planning a trashed out mixer , more of the usual dust and concrete droppings building up on a working truck
-
Today I started adding the cement crud around the mixer . Using concrete patcher powder w water works okay..would rather use the bag mix stuff . Ill wipe off the excess , then add the few decals , then spray a dull sealer . Getting to the point of wanting this done , the squirrels are starting to find other projects for me ...sounds like another snow mover !

Wow , that small black accent sets off the cab . The addition of the chrome headlights and handles really looks good -
Really dig the color w the orange wheels . Painting the roof black would set it off nicely

Thanks Sam ! I shot 2 coats of tamiya fine white , then yellow . Looks like its hidden I started assembly on the engine last night , drilling holes in heads , starter and fuel pump for the plumbing job we have planned . Keeping me using the kits parts instead of am stuff has been the most challenging
