  11. Really nice looking build so far ! The Cat looks ready to fire up The archer rivets will show up under gloss paint, KJ has used them numerous times on his killer KW builds and they look perfectly to scale after paint
  12. Thanks Dan , getting the mixer to this stage took way longer than expected. Trying to add more subtle details brings it to life , but burns thru the bench hrs quick lol. I'm hoping when its finished to photograph it together with the real survivor truck .
  13. I had a few hrs to putter with the mixer , I ended up installing the cab, main mixer unit and odd details while larger sections dried. I found a package of deck plates from moluminum id ordered that I'd forgotten about, and decided the walking areas needed some boot scrapers. The fuel tank, battery box and the side air tank rack had small pieces attached. I'm really close to final assembly now that its looking more like a mixer. Once everything is installed..the fun part begins..this won't be a clean truck .
  14. Very interesting concept, looks fantastic
  15. Beautiful GOATS !!!
  16. Thanks ! The color seemed right for the theme , and the wheels were something my buddy suggested. I originally left em white , but it looked too stark..hence the gray areas . That tied everything together Thanks alot ! Another Finned car for my collection Thanks I appreciate the comments

  23. Here's my take on amt's kit , definitely a fun build w good details . I wanted a mobster vibe, low and sleek showing off the land yachts huge body lines and fins . Paint is Tamiya gunmetal cleared w wet look and polished . The smoothie steel wheels came from ebay, painted German gray w a wide white wall . Spares box chrome dog dish caps the wheel off Any comments welcome !
