  1. Your color scheme sounds perfect for the Astro ! Starting to see more cab overs built on the forums of late
  2. Love the colors on the Ford Gareth beautifully done
  3. Thanks everyone ! I tried to keep the changes subtle on the car , not over the top .
  4. Here's my take on amt's kit , definitely a fun build w good details . I wanted a mobster vibe, low and sleek showing off the land yachts huge body lines and fins . Paint is Tamiya gunmetal cleared w wet look and polished . The smoothie steel wheels came from ebay, painted German gray w a wide white wall . Spares box chrome dog dish caps the wheel off Any comments welcome !
  5. Well folks , I can finally say its finished !!!! I painted the huge smoothie steel wheels german gray , leaving a nice fat white wall after trying a few different ideas. A chrome dog dish covers the lug nuts adding a touch of shine . Overall I'm happy , the hood twisted again after paint ..so it doesn't sit flat anymore but my shelf doesn't care Enjoy the pics The mcg pre-wired cap gives the Hemi from Action Modeler plenty of spark and Detail Masters chrome Hilborn stacks allow plenty of cool air into the engine Thanks for following along !
  6. Looking good ! The skirts / ribs tie everything together nicely. Really trick idea w the stacks running up behind the cab too
  7. Awesome work on the decking and struts ! The pe heads your way today
  8. Thanks , its been waiting for me to add the NYSDOT decals awhile..probably should get this under glass lol
  9. Absolutely stunning finish and beautiful build
  10. Thanks Steve , your TA is no slouch !! The fella that sold us the Mach 1 had a gorgeous white WS6 Firebird also, I wanted so badly . The Mach is a fun car , surprisingly its only 305 HP..kinda low and slow for a pony . My Ram 1500 will spank it right down the road lol
  11. We sold our Cutlass convertible after tiring of fixing it every trip..and picked up this beautiful pony car . 03 Mach 1
  12. Fantastic detail work on the little KW
  13. Wow nice work drilling all those holes out by hand ! Very tedious work. Wish I'd suggested it earlier, now its too late. I have KFS PE deck plates for trailers . sorry id made ya a smoking deal .
  14. Beautiful work The black foil really highlighted the belt line trim too, and the engine bay looks fantastic
  15. Love these era Buicks
  16. Very creative idea !!!
  17. Nice changes , makes the body flow better imo
  18. Finally started polishing out the body during another rain storm passed thru drenching us yet again. I went over body lightly w 2k wet , then polishing w Novus 2. Then the foil started ..billboard trim first I'm waiting for another pack of foil , after this one was drying out and had numerous wrinkles that fell on the cut sections Any feedback welcome
  19. Well done grafting the 2 halves together, it definitely looks better as a tandem JT is gonna love the color scheme too ? Glad to hear everyone made out okay after another serious storm passing thru . Luckily being in NY we've had a couple storms , but man the mosquitoes this yr are dreadful. Hard to enjoy few dry days when the little blood suckers are out in droves
  20. Nailed the look , beautiful model trailer That subtle exhaust staining along the side looks excellent too
