  1. In my bay at work, a brand spankin new 2015 vette Z06, metallic blue. Hefty price tag.....a touch over 93K.....
  2. nice job, that's a cool looking tow rig
  3. looking good, cab looks great!
  4. that's an acre of purple! as Clayton said, this thing is gonna pop when cleared! looking good Dan.
  5. look forward to the process, will be watching.
  6. thanks guys Dan, ya, I just set the ramps up there to get them off the table at that point in time, they will go underneath afterward.
  7. Jeff, testors 'gloss wood' spray enamel, then covered in testors lacquer dull coat.
  8. fantastic looking rig, and I must admit, the white walls are growing on me
  9. thanks guys phase two is rolling along pretty well also, http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97349 still haven't had a good opportunity for outside under glass pic's yet.
  10. Dan, the lines shouldn't be too bad, as the kit outlines where they run. and yes, I have put the cars on to get a 'look', hit one snag on that.....side pipes are a bit low on the cars, so the rear car on the lower part won't sit right due to the angle of the ramps, but I have figured out what I will do for that. todays bit of progress....it now rolls made one fatal mistake, due to not paying attention, I have the rams and beams mounted backwards on the rear most ramps that run to the bumper, I couldn't remove the mounting points for these off of the bumper without ruining something, so I am running with it
  11. Dan, looks great, good idea with the upper platform for viewing. I have to figure a guy with your talent can make a few lawn chairs, that should be easy after all the other stuff I have seen of yours.
  12. I actually laughed out loud at that
  13. in 15 years, this truck will be 'old school', lol. automotive technology is really making strides in hybrid stuff, this truck has a lot of features of the chevy volt and other electric cars. cool concept drivetrain-wise [and lets face it, fuel savings has got to be the number 1 issue with trucking], but I am not sold on the 'look' of the truck, but ya gotta be streamlined.
  14. Paul, thanks, I fall into some cool stuff every now and again Sean, I like it! I got a few shelves that are starting to look like that. .....if 2 is good.......3 must be better,,,,,,,nope, odd number.......better get atleast one more.......then again, 6 is a nice round number..... that seems to be my shopping motto anyway.....haha......
  15. hehe, I too can't get enough of 'the shine'. looks great Kevin. the part you're really going to like is when the car is all together, and the polishing you did on the paint/clear makes it look almost like it's metal once the car is complete. keep on keepin on, looks great!
  16. another winner Chuck, I really like this one, well done.
  17. good looking builds, love the looks of these fords.
  18. incredible work as usual, looks fabulous so far!
  19. Terry, this thing looks awesome! you must have a good sized shoe horn, that motor sure is stuffed in there great looking build so far, really dig the colors.
  20. Bill, welcome to the 'can't see BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH anymore' club, lol. pick up a cheap magnifying lamp or a visor, helps a lot for the small stuff. it's looking real good so far, look forward to seeing more.
  21. well, I'll take one of the first batch
  22. that is a sharp looking truck I don't think I have seen a rig with white walls before......they seem to suit it though
  23. coming along good, and I feel your pain with the fuel tanks.......longest part of a build for me it seems, smoothing the darn tanks....
  24. thanks all, you keep me motivated been making progress, and have sprayed a LOT of blue paint! first off, I got the tanks mounted, [cab is just sitting there] have a good bit of the trailer together, rest of the parts are drying, so it shouldn't take much longer to complete the trailer. I BMF'd the ram cylinders, and here is where the whole trailer is at this point, hope to get some bench time tomorrow, with luck, I might be able to finish up the trailer this weekend [other than decals]. as always, thanks for watching, and stay tuned.........
