Looking good, this is going to be cool.

I hear ya, at first I thought this would fit in my display case, but once I get it on a ‘parking lot’ , it won’t fit.... hoping I can fab up a clear cover for the whole thing after it’s complete.

When the project dies. Or does it?
tbill replied to Jantrix's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I’m from the ‘ I will finish it eventually’ camp . Most builds I get done in a month, but I have a few stragglers. One kit took me 4 years to get finished up, and I recently finished another one that had been kicking around for 2 years or so. I keep the stragglers in eye sight, eventually the urge to work on them returns . -
AMT/Italeri reefer trailer
tbill replied to KJ790's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
You have a knack for building fantastic trailers, looking forward to seeing this one completed. What’s going to be dragging this old girl down the highway? -
That’s sharp! Looks pretty close to being finished as well.

Man, that’s looking great! I love that color!

Thanks guys. Tom, thanks for the offer, but at this point, I’m gonna run with it, I cleared it, and the whole decal silvered, so at least it’s uniform looking, lol. for those that asked, here is a pic of the paint I used for the interior, and a few more progress pics. thanks for looking in,

You never seem to overlook the little stuff that always makes such a huge difference. as always, patiently await your next update. Looking superb so far.

Having witnessed your insane attention to detail here before, this is surely going to be one to watch! Tuned in, and ready to watch this progress ?

Another beauty off your bench, gorgeous!
-
Guess this is the next victim on the bench out of the bunch I have going, lol. Went with Testors Lime Ice green with a light green interior. This is an older version of the kit ( AMT/Ertl , red box art), and unfortunately, the decals silvered. The side stripes aren’t so bad, but the hood decal looks kinda, no, really crappy, but it’ll have to do. Any who, here’s some pics of where I’m at with it.

What did you see on the road today?
tbill replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Nice looking ride! If it weren’t for all the salt around here in the winter, I’d take it out on dry days, but soon, the roads will be pure white......, and not from snow. -

Looks pretty good to me! Having built this insanely aggravating kit myself , I feel your pain, what made my situation worse, is I built the amt tanker to go with it.....double dose of aggravation, lol. -
