  1. Now that is cool!!!
  2. You never seem to overlook the little stuff that always makes such a huge difference. as always, patiently await your next update. Looking superb so far.
  3. Having witnessed your insane attention to detail here before, this is surely going to be one to watch! Tuned in, and ready to watch this progress ?
  4. Another beauty off your bench, gorgeous!
  5. Guess this is the next victim on the bench out of the bunch I have going, lol. Went with Testors Lime Ice green with a light green interior. This is an older version of the kit ( AMT/Ertl , red box art), and unfortunately, the decals silvered. The side stripes aren’t so bad, but the hood decal looks kinda, no, really crappy, but it’ll have to do. Any who, here’s some pics of where I’m at with it.
  6. Nice looking ride! If it weren’t for all the salt around here in the winter, I’d take it out on dry days, but soon, the roads will be pure white......, and not from snow.
  7. Saw this in my garage Sunday, tucked away for its too long winter nap 2004 Corvette Convertible
  8. Looks pretty good to me! Having built this insanely aggravating kit myself , I feel your pain, what made my situation worse, is I built the amt tanker to go with it.....double dose of aggravation, lol.
  9. Dynamite build! You create some spectacular builds!
  10. Wow! Best looking Astro van I’ve ever seen , in 1:1 or model form!
  11. I thought I had posted a comment on this, I really, really like this build. A very cool totally believable combination, well done sir!
  12. Agreed, that thing is too cool!
  13. That’s cool! Looks like you’ve been busy!
  14. I can envision a masterful mess on that bench?
  15. Another beautiful build from your work shop, fantastic!
  16. Thanks for the kind words everyone. I was quite disappointed when I originally started this build, as the paint job just went haywire, but I’m pleased with the way it worked out in the long run. Originally this was going to be metallic blue, radical departure I’d say, haha.
  17. Lol, keep at it, you’re making good progress! As a reward for cleaning , you get to mess it up again?
  18. That looks terrific, well done. Makes me want to build mine.
  19. That looks like something I need to have!
  20. ya, these will be on the must have list...........
  21. Where is the model? incredible realism , you have really captured the look of a real rig, extremely well done!
  22. Well, the boys had built themselves a race car. Once the car was built, they needed a way to haul it and all the race related tools/parts and what not to the track, but needed something cheap ( blew the budget on the race car) After some networking, they found an old ford race rig, problem was, the cab got crushed by a tree years ago. Well, they set off to go look at it. The hauler body was in good shape, but the cab and hood were toast, but a deal was struck, and they dragged it home. After some junk yard searching and internet surfing they found a cab on a dump truck in decent shape, but missing a door. Craigslist turned up a good door, and a local town auction provided the hood. The boys got it running and patched back together , it’s ready to roll again......
  23. I think that’ll buff out.... super cool build, you really nailed the look.
