  1. I just got my first sheet today as well, but have been looking at vids, etc. to see how its done. I suggest looking at pics of the cars and picking one that looks the easiest between the Camaro and the Charger since Foxer already gave you the lowdown on the '59! From the pics I just looked at I'd say the Charger is the easiest, depending on how much you plan to foil. The Camaro has chrome rocker panels and wheel well moulding that the Charger doesn't have. I'll be foiling a 56 Belair, which looks daunting as well.
  2. Another new twist on a classic! I'll be keeping track.
  3. Nice work! Good to see a different twist on a Camaro.
  4. I've used this converter for years. It's a simple program that can be run from a disc or loaded. I keep it on my desktop. As always with any file you get from the web, scan it with a virus scanner. http://wscope.com/convert.htm
  5. One sweet Buick!!
  6. Nice take on a classic. Very well done!
  7. Working on the bodywork on my Skyline to make the wheel wells look stock. Got a bit more work to do. Engine is pretty much done, and the chassis is close to done.
  8. Very nice build!
  9. Very nice build!

  12. Excellent paint work!
  13. Nice work guys!! I love the 55!
  14. My update for June. I've been working on the body a bit for the time I've actually had to work on a model. I'm adding a luggage rack on the trunk to mask the use of a spoiler. I'm sure you've all seen these on 1:1's. I just thought it would make an interesting and functional addition. I have a fabricated piece that will attach between the two vertical supports (which I seem to have misplaced), which should give a spoiler-like appearance. I'll add that after painting the body. I used channel of course to make the trunk protectors, and ground down styrene blocks for the supports. It was tough trying to file those buggers down with these hands!
  15. Nice work on the valve covers Donovan! They match the originals perfectly with the extra dimples that the 409 valve covers don't have.
  16. That's funky! Like nine cans of shaving powder, that's funky!!!
  17. This thread has a lot going for it. Nice start Donovan.
