  1. Impressive craftsmanship!!
  2. I'm thinking more rouge nation stuff. Small or no navy. We do have to have the flexibility to fight different kinds of wars. Most of which we can't foresee!
  3. Wow, impressive. Not many people would attempt that on a vintage ride.
  4. Not good news for this boat though. http://thediplomat.com/2014/11/americas-newest-destroyer-is-already-outdated/
  5. Very nice work!
  6. Welcome to the forum Johan!
  7. I like the idea of using a cover piece. Should be okay if well done on a racing only car. For the sticklers you could use some weld bead for detail.
  8. Very nice work. Gives me ideas for a future build.
  9. You're right Mike if I understand the issue correctly, I used to unload poles using a Pettibone Cary-lift and the wire rope had a looped end with a large connector. Google "looped wire rope" and you'll see how they are constructed. Some drivers just used long chains and looped them around the poles and hooked them on to the trailer edge on one side and used the come-along on the other side hooked again to the edge of the trailer on the other side. I love the build!
  10. Very nice build. Well done!
  11. Really ingenious stuff here! I love it. And my wife even loves it.
  12. Welcome Nick. I'll be looking for pics of your builds.
  13. Great work. Love it!
  14. Yeah, and for that reason you may not want to polish it Oscar.
  15. Well done.
  16. Very nice in my opinion as well!!
  17. Ran into a problem with my Ferrari build so I figured I'd do an update on my Skyline. I didn't want to use the intake from the Compuware 'Vette engine so I cut off the plenum covers and fabricated my own. Here is one completed and the parts for the second. After fabbing the plenum I wondered if the engine sat up too high so I test fitted the engine. It fits!! So much room up front I'm thinking twin turbo now! Got 'em, might as well use 'em.
  18. Welcome Ken, sounds like you have the right attitude to me.
  19. Very good work. Clean build.
  20. Whoops, didn't pay attention to the question. I was thinking 1:1.
  21. If it shows through the primer (which I can see it does) it definitely will show through the paint. Been there, done that.
