Without front wheels those seat belts will sure be needed! Seriously this is a superb piece of work, looks museum quality to me. Can't wait to see it in all its glory - no doubt with those front wheels securely in place!

One Man Model does a 1/72 scale Saunders-Roe Princess that fascinates me. The 1:1 had a 219 foot wingspan and was 148 feet long. So the model has a 3 foot wingspan.

Sadly, Tim succumbed to Corona virus on April 12th. I loved the Goodies on UK TV and always enjoyed him in radio comedy in more recent times.

Well the original builder was clearly committed to his madness. Good luck in getting it apart!

Also a forerunner of the hard-headed professional school of drivers. He knew how to behave, certainly - but he also knew how to get what was his due. And I agree, Tom. Moss always said Fangio was the best.

Almost as bad as the paint is the horrible nerf bar (or is it a clothes drying rack?) stuck on the front of that poor old Mercedes. As for Lennon's Rolls, that is properly fabulous and I'd own that like a shot!

Neat! What scale is it?

The greatest Grand Prix racing driver never to be World Champion. My dad encountered him on a vintage car rally some years back. His attitude to proceedings was 'Get out of my bl**dy way!'. You don't get to be that successful in motor racing without a certain aggressive streak. Very sadly missed.
