  1. 1/20 scale? That would be a big build!!
  2. The work on that motor looks good................and the photography equally as good!
  3. Good grief Randy! Is there no end? LOL! Looking very much forward to some more "over the top" model building. ( I am actually working on the truck but haven't had any photo worthy updates yet-still half in the engineering phase).
  4. LOL ! I'm going to Sugurland this weekend with my son for his hockey tournament so I'm trying to cram all I can in too!! lol
  5. Gaaaaah!!!!!!! Good Lord man!!!!!!!!!!!! That's it!! I quit! Great job!
  6. That's a great color there Greg!! I hear you loud and clear on the acquisition of a paint booth. I too fight that same battle!
  7. Looking good Greg!!!! Keep the pics coming man!!!
  8. I like seeing different stuff like this as it breaks things up a little. Great model Steve!!
  9. Looks great Ray! Nice paint finish BTW.
  10. Well there's a reason it was so popular on FB. Great looking build Michel!
  11. Man that detail looks good Jim! Really nice work you have going on here. I'm nothing but all eyes on the removable air cleaner idea.
  12. Folks the motor is NOT done yet. I had to install it to figure out all the electrical ckt , fuel and brake line routing I've gotta do with this build. I've got it in there though!
  13. You're doin' great Dan! You'll get past all the "underground" work and come out smellin' like a rose with this one.
  14. Well...........................it was worth a try.
  15. Dan: Thanks buddy! Will be talkin' to you this week..... Carl: I used Flexi Files sanding sticks and thanks for the comments.
  16. She's a real beauty so far Tim. Hate to hear your luck with the Spaz Stix so far but I think your paint work made up the difference man.
  17. Thanks Jim! I'll tell you guys, I've spent the last couple of days ironing the hood and body blemishes out from all of the ejector pin marks and sink holes. There are tons of these things present all over the body and hood!! This kit is not one of Revell's more stellar kits but the molds are pretty old so I have to remember that when I want to complain. I removed the badging from the front of the hood and have completed all the body work on it. My next two plans for it are to cut out the rectangle in the hood for the carburetors and now that the bottom of the hood is all nice and smooth I'll probably shoot some chrome Spaz Stix on the undersides for a show truck style effect. Hopefully it'll turn out good enough to give a nice reflection of the engine off of it after I polish it up. I've re-worked the newer firewall/ forward cab area both inside and out starting with the removal of , you guessed it, ejector pin marks on the cab side of the floor area. I moved next to the firewall and removed all of the molded in wiring and component detail so I could install separate components and use real wire instead of the molded detail for a more realistic approach under the hood. I've still gotta fabricate brake and clutch pedals to make all that stuff work underneath. Firewall with molded detail: and the newer piece without the molded detail:
  18. Looks like a really clean paint job and detail work there Ludwig!
  19. That sounds appealing. Gonna do a WIP?
  20. I had a chance to buy one of those things about 20 or so years ago and it already had a 350 in it all set up and running for about a grand and I didn't buy it. And that thing was B-A-D!!!!
  21. Man don't ever do that again!!! I nearly puked!! ................lol
