Those wheels look like the ones off of a Monogram 69 Z28 kit I built once. Great looking build BTW there Jeremy!

Thank you Jim and Kevin! I was surprised enough to see that the Challenger won 1st place but I sure enough didn't see the Best in Automotive one coming at all. There were some great builds there at that show!

These guys are right Ken. Hit those wheels a little bit with some paint and you'll set this puppy off!! Those chrome pipes would benefit from a light coat of Tamiya smoke to tint them a bit to get rid of the toy chrome look. Good lookin' model bud. You did her proud.

First off it was great to finally meet you Dan. My son Joseph and I had an awesome time at the show and really enjoyed the visit. You should be proud of this build taking 1st place in its category. Thanks Ira, Tom and Jim!! I have actually been thinking about this kit through the years and am happy to take it on with todays skills and resources as well as things available now that weren't back then. All I can say is that this build has been a complete blast so far!!!

And he goes with the MPC kit. I'll be looking for this WIP. I knew about this kit but had forgotten.....

Not bad from the pics. Fish eyes were common to me in the early years.....I thought painting in my dad's shop while it was raining was beneficial in keeping the dust down.

Thank you sir Derick! I don't know about the bubble wrap (LOL) but it's gonna stay well protected for a while if I can help it. At some point I'll give it back to my brother .........but it's gonna be a while.

I've gotta hand it to you Ira! You come up with some of the wildest stuff I've ever seen model wise but you always seem to manage pulling it off in an attractive and artistic way. Great job man!!!
