  1. There are two of these real1;1 size cars on the huge photo coverage of the Plymouth,Mi American Concours coverage on these forums by Howard Cohen.
  2. Did you split the body down the middle and widen it? It looks like it to my old eyes anyway. Are you considering adding a "feature line" like a narrow half round from the side window lower edge to the tail? Might lessen the boat tail sedan delivery look a little?
  3. I love this. Very good photos as well. The reflective surface under it was a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Thanks for all the hard work and long hours you devoted to creating this huge collection of photos. The range of eras is amazing with vehicles from the earliest years of man's desire to get point A to point B to today's super cars. One of my favorites is the juxtaposition of the Goldenrod Bonneville car parked next to a 2 MPH horse drawn street car. The Ford collection is simply stunning. I marvel at the huge aircraft on display in impossibly small places. Another fave is the shot through the window of an 1800's wooden railcar window and seeing a first gen Corvette framed in the background. Outstanding stuff my friend!
  5. After watching the Jay Leno Garage inverview with the lead Corvette engineer I understand that the passenger compartment has been moved forward 18" and the legroom should be adequate for very tall individuals. Of course I can't speak to the adequacy of head room but it might be worth your while to pay a visit to a dealer just for the heck of it to try one on for size. For some excellent photos of the C8 take a look at Howard Cohen's photo coverage elsewhere on the forums, He took over 1300 pix at an event where the C8 had it's own display area. Great stuff and very informative.
  6. Sometimes the accumulation of knowledge here is really amazing!
  7. I notice that somewhere between the initial roof mock-up and the putty stage the side window profile changed. Did you remove some of the side to side supports to allow for the smoother side window profile?
  8. Very cool stuff happening here. Keep the inspiration coming guys. Heaven forbid we return to "normal building too soon".
  9. I think I recognize that work bench. looks like mine,10 square feet of bench and 10 square inches of work space.
  10. For replicating the fabric covered plug wires on model T Ford engines I use plastic coated wire and paint it with flat acrylics after installation. If you divide 10.5 mm by 25 tells me that .42 mm would be the 1/25 scale equivalent.
  11. My wife Karen and I have been married for 55 years. We have survived cancer, death of a child, open heart surgery and more. She has given me her entire life. She certainly is the most tolerant woman I have ever met and I thank God for her endless dedication to our lives together.
  12. Simply stunning work.
  13. Another great tip. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Looking promising. Only thing I would have done differently was fill in that hole in the hood. Thanks for sharing.
