Yes they do. I scratch built all the masters and Modelhuas cast them for me. I built a small scale car carrier tractor trailer rig to haul some of them just cause I could.lots of small scale fun went into those.
Sweet, sweet ride CT. The more complicated a small street rod like this one is the more difficult it is to achieve the delicate balance between form and function. Great mash up my friend!
what I recognized first was that gold primer I sprayed on it way back in the day. That is without a doubt AMT gold rattle can primer. I actually still have that old can as part of my collection of nostalgic stuff from my early days of building models.
I know exactly whose junk box that came from....Mine!! I can remember starting and working on this project back asmetricly styled things were the hot ticket in purpose built show cars on the ISCA circuit in the Carl Casper era. Glad it landed on it's wheels and is being useful again.
Be very careful here. Sometimes seeing one really cool part like those wheelie bars can lead you down the proverbial " rabbit hole" on an extended build. Don't say you weren't warned.
I built one of these a very long time ago(30+years) by turning it into a roadsters pickup. I don't have the skills to post pictures here but will email them to someone if they'll post 'em.
I recently posted that I would be tempted to promos this kit and wham bam thank you man here it is. So now I'm going to scratch that off my "to do" list. Great stuff indeed.
