  1. Lovin this. Any sip pic available? What were your parts sources please? I'd love to the something similar.
  2. Thanks for sharing these. I see some very interesting stuff on those tables!
  3. Nicely done model of something we seldom see here in any scale.
  4. That site is very confusing.
  5. Love this one. Gonna have to steal that perforated metal sunvisor detail.
  6. Something smells like money talks and wins the chip lottery.
  7. These restorable models are available on the vendor's tables at most toy shows if we keep our eyes open. A lot are priced at no more than current new kits so I always do some digging around for styrene treasure.
  8. Great stuff Mr.Boyd. Thanks for reminding us about these. I know I was inspired to build one from a Rolls Royce after you dared to go where no modeler had gone before.
  9. I love this build. I build in this same era most of the time so can appreciate the work involved.
  10. With the exception of the visibility of the ejector pin marks on back of the front forks this a real world looking diorama. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Great build. I'm glad you kept the body stock. I have yet to see a customized version of this that looks very good. The stock styling of these is so classic that attempts to improve always fall short. Nicely done indeed.
  12. Thanks. That nose-on photo does in fact gives me the basic layout of the flat panels I would need to make to replicate that torpedo like radiator shell.
  13. Great idea and representation of a brass era speedster. Love that radiator shell. Any pix of that part under construction that you can share?
  14. Cleanly built and excellent foil work. Thanks for sharing.
  15. To find out more about those techniques do a quick internet search. Surely some results will be available. Possibly other members here can post direct links to some useful sites.
  16. Thanks again Bill. I have never owned that kit. Great to know that the top should work nicely.
  17. Thanks Bill. I'll look into that. A 1/24 top on 1/25 convertible might in fact take some modifications.
  18. I recently scored some original release 1958,'59 and '60 SMP/AMT Chevy convertibles at a toy show. All are cleanly stock built,no paint, decals or added parts like skirts, etc and I want to rebuild them using correct up tops. Any suggestions on where to source those tops?
  19. Your cuts to the rear of the dragster body leave it with a look similar to Ed Roth's Yellow Fang dragster from the '80's.
  20. No surprise with supply chain issues effecting almost everything we buy today that yours is delayed.
  21. Wonder if a 3D file guru with access to those blueprints could answer the call here for producing the various parts for interested builders.
  22. Both my wife and I are users of either cpap or bipap units. My apnea was much worse than hers so I got my unit first. My breathing was stopping over 100 times an hour(!). My Doctor told me I was actually only sleeping about 15 or 20 seconds at a time before waking up. I was naping several times a day. We also use the So Clean system to keep them clean.
