Anyone have the HRM Cobra build/review article? If not, I can dig it out and post it. It was by Len Woodruff. -

Per an article by Mark G. And Dan Baker, Bob passed in 2011. I'd love to see some close ups of all his scratchbuilt Cobras he had in progress which I believe are inow n the MCB museum collection near Salt Lake City. -

Not sure if you can load that here. I'll scan it and post it to this thread. -
I added the Zoomies, Max's legs (not in pic) and cut out the back an added the tanks, tires and oil cans.

If we only knew (and had the money too). -
Actuall it is the Testors kit that is the old Palmer one. More like a cross between a 69 and 71 Mustang and it seemed like the only alternative to a very bad kit.

Great story Tom. Made me laugh and sad at the same time.

Sorry about the clarity. Later tonight I may scan them which will make them a lot crisper. -
Great book. If possible please mention the 71-73 MPC Mustang kits have vents in the hood. No 71-73 Mustang had them. I assume they assumed there would be vents on the real cars but they never fixed this flaw in the kit. Aside from the many other flaws of the kit, this one bugs me the most as I have to fill in the vents and sand it smooth to have a more accurate hood. A list of the many other flaws of the AMT and MPC kits can be read on this website. Https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/mustang.htm

Not sure if I have ever seen a real one but what a neat little car. Super build and photos.

I think you nailed it. Great job.

Sexy. Nice job for a Lotus guy.

Sounds like some of you will be stocking up at the show.

Thanks Gramps . Your's are nice too Snake.

I did not build these this year but I would put them in the diecast category as I did not paint the bodies. The 67 Shelby is actually quite a nice kit for the price as are the other 68's. The Testors Mach1 not so much.

Glue Bomb Rescues and Survivor Restorations of 2018

All very nicely done. Perhaps the Dart will get the stripes, emblems and wipers added back on at some point. I do have one question - where are the Mustangs?
