  1. Sorry about the clarity. Later tonight I may scan them which will make them a lot crisper.
  2. Great book. If possible please mention the 71-73 MPC Mustang kits have vents in the hood. No 71-73 Mustang had them. I assume they assumed there would be vents on the real cars but they never fixed this flaw in the kit. Aside from the many other flaws of the kit, this one bugs me the most as I have to fill in the vents and sand it smooth to have a more accurate hood. A list of the many other flaws of the AMT and MPC kits can be read on this website. Https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/mustang.htm
  3. You're next. Model cars Feb/Mar 2002.
  4. Has it been 25 years since Pat wrote this? The contrast to the 1/43 kit is remarkable.
  5. This may help.

    BMW 507

Not sure if I have ever seen a real one but what a neat little car. Super build and photos.
  7. I think you nailed it. Great job.
  8. Sexy. Nice job for a Lotus guy.
  9. Sounds like some of you will be stocking up at the show.
  10. Thanks Gramps . Your's are nice too Snake.
  11. I did not build these this year but I would put them in the diecast category as I did not paint the bodies. The 67 Shelby is actually quite a nice kit for the price as are the other 68's. The Testors Mach1 not so much.
  12. All very nicely done. Perhaps the Dart will get the stripes, emblems and wipers added back on at some point. I do have one question - where are the Mustangs?
  13. They all look cool to me.
  14. Very cool cat. Superb job.
  15. Simply beautiful. On my list to build one also.
  16. A++++. The decals came out very nice. My 2019 goal is be one of a handful to build a 71 Europa this year - the European version of what a 71 Shelby would have looked like perhaps. Keith Marks has the decals.
  17. Yep. Same scientists that said an ice age was coming soon. Perhaps in a few hundred thousands years or maybe not. Do we care? Can we do squat about it? No. Far greater chance of our own demise being caused by a NATURAL disaster (like a super volcano) and then people killing each other over a scare food supply to survive. I'm sure we can adapt to a few degrees change over time. The poor countries may be SOL as they are woefully prepared for even minor disruptions. Look at Venezuela -100% politically caused food shortages shows how vulnerable society can be.
  18. Sounds great in theory but as we have seen with other "global" problems the developed countries beat themselves up with controls and restrictions and we tell the rest of the world to get their act together decades from now. I see only one person who would have they guts to tell other countries to clean up their act now but he's a little busy at the moment with a drug and human trafficking problem just to the south.
  19. Mr. Hobby's cousin Dr. Evil suggests using a mini laser to test the paint .
  20. Some people like to kid themselves that they are saving the planet so they can sleep better at night in their air conditioned or heated house.
  21. Like others have said trash being dumped into landfills hundreds of miles inland is probably not ending up in the oceans. Where do they countries with over a billion mostly people dump stuff? Until that problem is dealt all othe measures while helpful are only a fraction of the solution. I do not see the Mississippi river on this list.
  22. Are we sure Bruce wasn't driving?

  24. It will be a street Boss 302. Now I just need to find 1/32 Magnum 500s and Boss decals.
