Revell 1969 Mustang Boss 302............My take with pics!

We can always hope for updates to fix the errors in the next release. Then again, it took almost 50 years to get this one so I will not hold my breath. Maybe that Palmer kit isn't looking so bad after all. -

My 2018- A few I’m really proud of and more than I expected

Love the Shelby and all the others. I wish I could say I built half as many. I have to stop starting on too many projects at once and not getting them completed. Perhaps my resolution will be too make a list of what I have in progress and set a goal to finish them one by one. Plus that and I need to lose 30 pounds too. -

You could paint the cowl area black and do some other detailing. I've got quite a few 1/43 diecast Mustangs of varying quality and detail including the green one.

What did you get under the tree (model related)

Ordered the Boss 302 but it is not due for a few days. Nothing else on my wish wish except maybe the 1/12 GT500 that I never bought but wish I had. Like many years I bought more kits and built ups than that I built. -
Super realistic job under the hood and the paint and headlights look great.

Nice to hear back. There is a wealth of knowledge on these boards. Due to some other posts a lot were probably wondering the same thing as Dale.

Some times the most obvious things are sadly overlooked. Agree 1000% JC.

The Shelby racing 69 T/A Bosses had white stripes but that they were not available on the street cars. I can foresee some racing version made out of this kit. -
Estate Planning - all those models in the basement

Perhaps the Shelby museum in Vegas would be interested sometime down the road. I know a guy who donated all his vintage space toys (pre 60's) to the Smithsonian. -

Inquiring minds wan to know where the propane tank came from. It looks like its time for a trade in to the refill center.

Testors make a Root Beer spray paint.

Five stars on paint and detail and everything. I have one question on the plug wires - do they route under the headers?

I recently bought the reissued AMT kit and got a Monogram one on Ebay. I thought they would be pretty similar but when I put them side by side it is interesting the difference in the lenght and size if the rear window. It makes me wonder how the same scale could be so different for something that should be pretty close despite the difference in brands.

Good to hear that.

Very nice to see a slab side Cobra. I had a FF 427 MKII but sold it this summer. I never got around to building a replica of my replica so it looks like you have a good start.

I doubt it really represents a 429/460 bit more like a 390/428 block, intake and valve covers.

Hey resin Cobra kit builders - anyone seen these

Thanks Gramps and Testa Rossa. Brad's kits are top notch so I may not even bother with these offered get which seem to be pretty basic and putting an engine in them would probably be a lot of work. Gramps - you need to get one of the HRM conversion kits. -
No one loves Ebay but as a buyer the protection is pretty good. As a seller you can get hosed by people saying the item was damaged and they do not even have to prove it. Ask me how I know.
