  1. Or maybe the back of an early Charger.
  2. There was a 67 Mustang in white also. I built the model (after repainting it) but tossed the box out.
  3. Note sure about the built to last comment. Most cars from the 60's thru 80's are not around because they were disposable or rusted out or got horrible gas mileage. Todays cars are boring but will last decades but I still do not see many cars older that's 15 years around here - people get tired of them or pass them on to their kids to be abused. One neighbor still drives his 83 VW GTI everyday but it's garaged and it still looks pretty good. As far as styling - almost everything on the road looks the same. I was coming home yesterday and a kid about 12 was on his bike yelling to his friends to look at that cool car. I was driving my 72 Mach1. Now that kid has good taste.
  4. I have a lot of unfinished ones too (CMA, Renaissance and a whole bunch of Fujumi MKI and MK II's) with a whole bunch of decals to do various liveries. Hard to believe next year will be the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Lemans victory. Where did half a century go?
  5. Don't forget the backwards windshield wipers.
  6. Such an underrated kit. It hs a engine which the vast majority of 1/43 metal and resin kits do not for three times the price.
  7. I would build just about any Mustang and there certainly is a void of coupe kits. I just don't think they would sell as well. There are some resin options but as others have pointed out the 67/68 have issues (rear window area). I do not understand if they spend money to tool a convertible how hard would it be to do a hardtop. It would share many of the same parts.
  8. Drop in the bucket compared to a few thousand Cobras :-)
  9. They are not as cool. Same goes for the real ones. People want convertibles and fastbacks and will pay more.
  10. I think one of the old 90's Nascar ones. I do not have the rest of the kits - just a few engines.
  11. I had one of the 1/43 kits that had about 300 parts (metal, photo etch) that I ended up trading because I figured I would never build it. I think it was made by Superior.
  12. How high did the bidding go out of curiosity?
  13. Assuming this is one of those engines (someone can confirm) it would be an acceptable option along with some stock exhaust manifolds and oil pan.
  14. I am working on reshaping the back on this Lil Red that I started on a while ago. Seeing the real one found got me interested in making some progress. I believe this prototype had two superchargers so it will not be just your average 428 SCJ.
  15. Check with Kevin directly. The masters are 1/24 (from the Danbury Mint Boss 351) so it will take some modifications to the AMT or MPC interior bucket to make it work. he biggest giveaway of a Cleveland is the upper radiator hose goes straight down into the block and not sideways into the intake manifold like on a 351W.
  16. It had been years since I built the other ones. They were all a challenge.
  17. You were way ahead of us and Monogram, Gary. I sort of did the same thing except I had to use a fastback conversion part. The putty dried out after a few decades.
  18. It happens to the best.
  19. A few of these I built over thirty years ago. Build the Aurora one for extra credit.

I sense a trend here lately. Excellent job and the engine looks very realistic.
  21. Never give up. Just curse a lot. I wanted to finish this one since I have built all the others (MKI, MKII, Gulf, and MKIV).
  22. I'll be straight forward. The spoiler is on backwards. It is basically the same spoiler on 69-73 Mustangs and the front edge is the flat part and the back part is tapered.
