Those kits had a lot of potential is only they had a full engine. If IMC could have made them fifty years ago with opening doors and front and rear sections you would think Fujumi would step it up. Of course they are much more accurate than they toy like IMC kits but they do have a certain nostalgic value.

Yes. That is a bummer. I will have to find what I usually use or switch to something else. I'll give it a week.

Very cool idea. While my car was never in rough shape (repainted in 1990) I did have a blast driving it all over the east coast to auto crosses, shows and track events. The signs in yours looks great. Here is my car in the mid 1980's and last month. Where did the time go?

I painted a body with Testors Primer and it is still tacky after three days. I have never used a Dehydrator but maybe I need to look into getting one. Funny thing is I usually use a Testors model masters flat light aircraft or gull gray primer and it dries very quickly. Does it have to do with the glossier paint that it takes longer to dry than flat. With the only Hobbytown close by closing down in January the local paint selections are slim pickings.

It is a bit tacky to say the least for them to charge you, especially if you bought coffee and tea etc.

Also on the west coast House of Hobbies in Palm Harbor. The place is packed with models up to 30 years old. -
Made some trades with 71 Mustang in South Africa and we both have been happy. Us Mustang guys have to stick together.

Is the engine on par with Brad's castings?
-
I am sure you are more familar with their products and perhaps that is a test shot. I agree since there is a market for this product they will have no problem selling them. The term knock off could end being a compliment if the quality is as you say. It would be nice for someone to review one of the first ones available.
-
I have the Scale Production one. This looks like a knock off with fewer parts.
-
Might have to pass on this one. What Revell/Monogram kit is supposed to be the donor?
-
Not sure if anyone does these decals but the color is dead on. It's a little surprising a lot off the funny cars did not have the NACA scoops.
-
So two years later is a transkit available. I got one of the Scale Productons one a few years ago. I should count my blessings.

Nice job on the real one made to look like a kit. Somehow I missed that 90's show. Of course not many people saw Street Hawk either.

Or Spin out. Thank you very much.

71 Mustangs. Sure wish someone would do a resin convertible. Not sure the last time I saw this hubcap.
-
Let me be the first to say excellent job on the conversion. There is a resin body available Motor City resin casters with the grille and chrome bumper and flat style hood to make a coupe if one wants to avoid all the scratch building. If you look at the grille area of any 71-73 Mustang the only body color you will see is the fender caps and hood trim (unless it is chrome like this one). The grille area is either dark grey/silver or black. Technicallly all Grandes had the vinyl roof but not every Mustang with a vinyl roof was a Grande. There was even a vinyl roof on some sportsroof models. You nailed the hubcaps and even added the turn signals which most would over look. The letters on the trunk only appeared on 71's. Nice touch on the mud flaps and reflectors. it is always nice to see a well built 71-73 Mustang.
