Replicas & Miniatures Company of Maryland
vamach1 replied to Jimmy Wilson's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Here is recent abbreviated price list from last May. I have known Norm for 30 years. He is an old school guy (no website) and I'm guessing he is about 70 years old. Give him a call if there are issues with the accuracy of any of his products. I would venture to say 99% of his customers are very satisified. -
I haven't heard from ebay seller and it is driving me nuts.

Ebay can be hit or miss with some sellers. I seem to get the fastest responses from selling with misleading or just plain wrong descriptions of an item. They usually reply within hours. Most sellers I have dealt with will update the tracking info within a day or two. Once you get the item you can always leave some meh ratings on their communication. -

Excellent low cost conversion. I sure wish someone did a plastic race version.

Always buy the real thing. The price difference is not even an issue but the crappy quality of knock-offs is.

Kyosho Museum Collection Cobra Daytona Coupes 1:43 scale
vamach1 replied to Greg Myers's topic in Diecast Corner
That seems pretty cheap. -
There is a Toby Keith video (maybe ten years ago) and she (Heather) looked pretty hot in it. Very few women can stay hot nearing sixty or older. Brooke Shields, Deborah Delaney and Christie Brinkley come to mind as exceptions.

Amen to that. I am glad I bought this one when it came out and got Pete to sign it. I think it was at SAAC 25. -

That car (a McClusky) is owned by my neighbor Charlie S. He occasionally drives to a Cars & Coffee and I got to ride in on the pace lap @ Summt Point. Pics are on another computer but he also owns this SAfir GT40 that I got to take for a spin. The 2nd GT40 is owned by another gentleman Howard. He built it himself. -

Good to know. Can someone elaborate on the differences in the rear seat?

I saw decals for sale on Ebay and they mysteriously disappeared. There were decals for the Ford MKIV also by the same seller but I cannot find those either. They were about $8.

I know this an old thread but I remember when Revell would send you a correct replacement interior if you cut out the proof of purchase and mailed it to them. Hard to say if they still have them.

Thanks for that info. Weird they went with the single carb but it was a one off so I guess it should not be surprising. Also odd it has the 289 style air cleaner. Here is the Mecum listing.

All the 67 GT500s came with dual carbs.

It would fill up that engine bay nicely.

I would get the Plamoz wheels, use any 60's whitewall tires you can find, the Keith Marks decals and the 427 engine from the Monogram 427 Cobra.

I just found out and missed the going out of business sale. They carried a lot of RC stuff but also slot cars and trains and a great selection of model kits (at retail prices). I will miss the paints selection. Another local hobby shop closed a year ago - sad to see them keep disappearing because they will never be back. I'm not a big fan of mail order (due to shipping costs) and I only buy older kits on Ebay and the selection at the local Craft stores is pretty spotty. Sadly the closest Hobby Lobby is not very close.

Looks very nice Ray. -
Maybe use some craft ribbon for the tie down straps.
