  1. Come back anytime. The December meeting is the largest attendance wise,
  2. Check out www.mamasboyz.org for pictures, newsletters and links to more pictures from model and car shows. Glad to see a lot of the original members at the meeting Saturday.
  3. For those of you who only know HRM and Harold Bradford from his great resin products, here is a picture of him today with his lovely wife at todays MAMA 30th anniversary meeting. Photo courtesy Lyle Willits.
  4. Was this your first attempt? Looks pretty good to me except for that persky rear window.
  5. That's great. I'm not that organized so I try to post pics that I take in person before I forget. See the Allsport Mustang pics I just posted if you're interested in 90's TransAm Mustangs.
  6. Here are some pics that could help if you are building this model or one like it.
  7. On another note - so glad to see you today at MAMA today and don't be a stranger and come up again anytime. I'm just five minutes off 66/495 and you can come check out my collection which does include some Exoto cars. I'm guessing you can ID this car from the Glen last weekend.
  8. Certainly impressive for sure. Not sure if just buying them bring the same level of satisfaction as trying to create something you know you built. And then there is the scale which is a little large for many. Some are on sale for only $1500 and up.
  9. That is cool. THe only I built was all white and I had to paint everything. More models should be this easy.
  10. Must have been 48 hours straight. . It's impressive for sure. I built a diorama of it sinking but that picture is somewhere on the hard drive from about ten years ago.
  11. Found this old picture from the early 80's. I still have some of them but have repainted them or sacrificed them for parts. No big deal as they were not very good.
  12. Very nice. Looks ready to race a Ford.
  13. A guy from Sweden with the answers no less. Is this a great website or what?
  14. Are Facebook or Twitter the moderators? You cannot make a joke these days. So sad.
  15. Shades of blue. Interesting Fred Cady did GT350R decals and included the R which was never put on a car. The R model was the race version but the side decals were the same as the street GT350. The stripes on the top were painted.
  16. Maybe Brad is trying to copy the typical Japanese instructions.
  17. Maybe someone has posted pics of the real car which is in the Petersen museum in Los Angeles. I could not find any recents pics with the front end off. Kind of sad to see it hidden in the basement.
  18. Cool retro decals. Is it based on a real car or just your imagination?
  19. Sorry two of the pics are dark. Not vet good lighting in the pits.
  20. Given the room it takes to store them perhaps it was not a bad idea. A lot more people would see them and appreciate them too. Assuming my kids do not want my built models when I am gone I hope someday they end up somewhere on display. Maybe I should get in line as there is a Mustang museum that is opening next year that might get a lot of donations.
  21. Came out looking really nice for a factor kit bashed orphan.
  22. You can either buy an aftermarket set (Cady on Ebay) or put you request in the Wanted forum. I bet someone has a spare set.
  23. I cannot really think of any. I built all sorts of kits as a kid but nothing that I am really that nostalgic about. I would say 95% of the kits I have I bought in the last 35 years so I missed the chance to buy any of the annuals in the 60's and 70's. Over the years I have bought some older unbuilt kits or glue bombs if the price was reasonable. There are very few kits I do not have that I would not mind adding to the collection (Mangusta comes to mind) but all in all I can say no RAGRETS so maybe I will get that tattooed on my chest.
  24. I built the Testors and Mauri/Tilt ones a long time ago. Love the color and it's not crazy at all. Great job.
  25. Are you sure that is a color shift paint? I know Testors has some funky metal flake colors in the craft aisle that look similar to the color shift ones.
