  1. No complaints about the kit at all. It is weird they never did a GT500 version.
  2. Thanks for the references everyone. My google search did not bring up his website with all the great photos. I have met Mr. Auxier at Carlisle and have a reprint of one of the pics on the 71 Mustang.
  3. One more picture of the model which may be close to what the roll cage actually would look like.
  4. I found this picture last night.
  5. Any early 70's Prostock experts out there? I plan to build the fictional Minuteman Mustang but from looking at the instructions the only interior supplied is the bone stock one with the standard Mach1 dash, stock rear seats, door panels, center console, roll bar and two small racing seats. I have to assume this is a joke and the real cars ran a gutted interior with a full roll cage, one racing seat and racing instruments. The Sunstar 1/18 diecast looks more on the mark as a reference but it still appears to have the stock door panels and maybe dash. Can anyone provide period pictures or set me straight as to what would be correct for this era.
  6. This would be one heck of a scratch built profect.
  7. Here is the hood. I am on the hunt for the traction bars and drag chute.
  8. I found this buildup and a spare set of decals at Carlisle Ford swap meet.
  9. I have built one box stock so seeing what else can be done will be nice.
  10. very cool. I have never seen pictures of the interior. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Finally got an engine put in but still need to connect the molded in exhaust onth manifolds with some extra piping.
  12. Very nice. Check out some interior pictures online. Early Mustangs had lots of chrome trim, door handles, ash trays, etc.

  18. Do not bother looking for a website ;-)
  19. Seems to be a trend going on here. I need to do the rear window modification.
  20. Ford should have done a Boss 302 with white stripes. Very nice builds.
  21. A very cool setting for a model show. I hope to finish a GT40 Mark II and Mark IV by then just like the ones on display.
  22. I see a bunch of links to Fotki on Facebook of the show. Search for Lyle Willits. You can also go to the mamasboyz.org and click on members albums where you will find links to hundreds of pictures.
  23. Looks like you prefer the non GT grille for a different look. Very nice.
  24. Norm of R&M also has these parts and others.
