  1. No problem, I also resin cast some Brockway emblems if you need any. I know the AITM kit only comes with decals. Here they are on a 361 that I built. Grill, hood sides and mud flaps all same emblem. And a junker 361
  2. The Diamond Reo chassis would be more accurate for a 300 series. The Hendrickson walking beam suspension would be accurate or the air ride suspension from the Ertl International kits. Most of the 300 series had square tanks with inset steps like the passenger side tank on the Mack DM kits. The air tanks from the Paystar 5000 kits, and battery boxes from the R model Mack will be accurate. Spoke wheels from either the Diamond Reo or Autocar dump truck kit would be accurate. So, basically a Diamond Reo donor with a few other odds and ends would get you in the right direction. I have some Brockway literature, brochures, and blueprints if I can help you along with anything.
  3. Excellent work. Great use of the tag axle on the tandem. Very accurate and correct, and often overlooked detail.
  4. Wow Dennis. You have got some great work done. This build is epic.
  5. Sam is correct, but just an FYI, the truck in the pic is not a DM. Thats an RD600 with the centered cab, not the offset cab. AITM also has the RD600 steel hood conversion.
  6. I just remembered that the Can Do/Will Do wrecker has these horns. Im sure I have some extra.
  7. Dennis, Im pretty sure there are some Italeri horns that are rectangular(could be wrong though). They wouldnt say Mack, but it wouldnt be a big deal to make a decal. Im sure someone can confirm this, but if not Ill check my kits when Im back in town.
  8. Can you find an image of a truck close to what she drove? We can be a very technical bunch, and there are many parts suppliers out there. From the sound of it, you should use the Ford racehauler kit with a hendrickson rear suspension. I would suggest going to the trading post in the truck section and trying to get your rears and walking beams. I dont know your skill level, but a dump box can be pretty easily built with some styrene sheet and square/rectangle styren tube. This can be purchased online, or if your lucky at a local hobby shop.Did the truck have spoke wheels, alum wheels, steel buds, dual tanks, dual stacks, how many yards was the box, was it a set back axle or axle forward?
  9. Wow! More exceptional work.
  10. Wow! Ive seen the pic of the real one before, and you nailed it. I dont know how its not 100%, but its got be 99.9% at least. What a spectacular build.
  11. Big rig is such a cliched term to begin with. Model truck build off would have been better. At the end of the day, what its called doesnt really matter. Lets build some trucks.
  12. That new cab wall looks great Brian. The frame and resin wheels looks great too. This is shaping up to be another good one!
  13. Looks good Jim. Its about time you built something! Lol. The truck is off to a great start.
  14. Excellent construction, and excellent kit. Im jealous! I want one of these kits really bad.
  15. I really didnt use any specs when I built it. I just winged it. I used landing gears from the Italeri dump trailer, and the rear suspension from the White Freightliner coe on the dolly, and two sets of AMT lowboy suspensions on the beam trailer. Its not based on anything real, I was just going for a look I saw in my head. I can take a few measurements from it if youd like.
  16. Im in. Can I pick up where I left off with my BRBO rig? Lol. Ill figure out something new to start on.
  17. Tom, will this be another daycab, or are you going box stock fleet truck with this one?
  18. This should be good. I love these cabovers. I cant wait to see where you go with it. I have one of these set aside for an Autocar badged turbined powered prototype that I have some pics of. Good luck with your build.
  19. Super clean build Tom!
