  1. Nice work Ben. I mess around with some 1/32 trucks sometimes just to change it up a bit. The hood work on this is looking very good.
  2. Gettin better every time I see it!
  3. Excellent work and attention to detail.
  4. Nothing short of impressive work Brian!
  5. Nothing short of impressive work Brian!
  6. Mark, you have inadvertently given me a great idea for a "What if?" project. Thanks man!
  7. Be careful narrowing the spread if your going to use oversized resin wheels. If your using the kit wheels, they do look far apart yes, but thats also because the wheels look tiny on these Macks. If your going with resin wheels, Id leave the spread as it is.
  8. The Brockway 700 series, and 400 series Coe's had the same cabs that Mack used, but thats as far as it went is my understanding. There are some interesting photos out there of a prototype Brockway "Superliner" that never went into production. Theres a whole conspiracy theory out there about Mack not having any good new designs, they see the new Brockway prototype, Brockway workers go on strike, Mack sees an opportunity, Mack shuts down Brockway, Mack produces their new "Superliner"!
  9. Alright! Now this is something Im REALLY looking forward to. Lets go!
  10. One tip on both of these kits, the axles are too long. Building the kits box stock puts the wheels way too far out from the frame. The engine swap sounds interesting, which are you going with?
  11. Outstanding work as usual Ken. It has those details that have become the signiture of your work. Very nicely done.
  12. Wow, your off to a great start. The frame details look great. The removal of the unnecessary details is an often overlooked step.
  13. So, is the one you have on order still legit? Or did they change it to a pre-order?
  14. Everyone has got some great ideas. This should be a fun round this year. May everyone stay motivated, and take it to the finish(myself included).
  15. Im sure I have an extra bumper, just let me know.
  16. Sorry Brian, thats the dumper. I was just showing how I was going to make the cab patch.
  17. Thanks gentlemen, it should be a fun build. The kit goes together fairly easy(except for the chassis being completely wrong, and having adapter plates to move the springs back to the set back configuration). For starters on this one, I robbed some front leaf springs from a Pete 377 kit, because they are more accurate than the short springs moved back a little. The two piece hood was no problem on the dumper, nor was the multipiece cab. I used the AMT Ford back wall as a daycab patch. It only requred minor adaption for the scale difference. So Ill be doing that on this one also.
  18. Excellent scratchbuilding. Really amazing work.
  19. Can't wait to see this one! Youve had a good run of cabovers lately
