  1. Excellent work. That is a fine Peterbilt, and very clean build.
  2. Very nice work. I like the color choice. I was working on something similar to this myself, same wheels and all. You are further along than I am, I look forward to seeing your progress.
  3. Tom the blue and silver looks great. The 378 daycab looks just right hooked to that lowboy. Keep up the good work.
  4. Excellent build! I love watching a kit bash like this. Its truly the great thing about modeling. Taking different kits from different manufacturers and mish mashing is a beautiful thing. Great job.
  5. That interior is spectacular. One question I have, are the rims staying white or are you going to Alclad them? With all this shiny going on, theyre begging for it.
  6. I think Im going to play around with heavily modifying a 1/32 F150. I just need to find a body builders manual for the ranger.
  7. Im assuming that this is the toy reffered to?
  8. Can anyone help with any leads to source an 85 ranger? It doesnt seem that there was ever one in kit form. Does anyone know of any diecast, or toys that are close enough to be modified? Resin?
  9. I bought this kit to try to use the tires on a 1/32 semi. I robbed a few parts from it for my Ford wrecker project, and I figured Id play around with whats left. For starters, I wanted to change the whole stance of the struck. The cab sits on the frame very strangely, so the first thing I did was notch the rear cab wall to let it sit lower on the frame. I also modified the fromt leaf springs to lower it some more. I ended up tucking the frame into the front in more by cutting out the engine, cutting some of the inner fender off, cutting a little of the bottom of the radiator as well. After all that, Im happy. I used the bed floor, but made new sides. I cut off the molded on sunvisor, and filled in the sunroof hole. After all of that, it looks just like the way I remember these trucks. I added a piece of styrene sheet to the odd notch on the back of the cab. I rounded it over and blended it with the shape of the roof and back panel. Now I kinda want to get a few more of these.
  10. I commenced work on this old Ford after taking a small break from the big trucks. I mounted a rear axle from the Super stones kit and the push bumper from the GMC wrecker kit. After having the axle mounted And seeing where the wheels sit, I narrowed the rear fender flares a bit. I mounted a piece of angle at the foot of the bed and mounted the kit bumper to that. I have the sling from the GMC wrecker just sitting there for mock up. I will scratch build one later with two shackles for the twin booms. I still need to reinforce the bed under where the booms sit, and maybe some reinforcement underneath. I need to jack up the rear a bit, now that the axle is mounted because I dont like the stance.
