  1. Okay, I am going to attempt a replica of Norm's Kookie car. I have an Outlaw kit and a Tweedy pie kit. Between the two of them I should have most of the parts needed. "We shall see" said the blind man..
  2. Very good work on difficult kits. I have built three but am still leery of the Mysterion.
  3. Agree, used one of these to build a Michael Keyser IMSA version.
  4. Hey Snake, tried to PM you but it said your inbox is full. This is the only way I know how to contact you as I lost your email address. Did you get a chance to see if the MPC RS grill will fit the AMT '68 Camaro body. Let me know as I am still interested.
  5. Along the same line, here is my conversion of a '64 Dodge to one of the original "Dodge Chargers".
  6. Wow, your doing a great job on a difficult kit. I had forgotten what IMC's attempt at "Weber" carbs looked like. Pulled my IMC GT40 kit and yep, that's them. Your ferrules really help improve the look. Will be watching.
  7. Good build. One of my favorite cars and stories from the early '60's.
  8. He changed to a Lenco trans in the '73 Vega (after the Winternationals), the '72 Vega was a T-10 four speed.
  9. My photo (see below) of Grumpy's '68 motor shows the block is red? I have the Slixx sheet also, thanks for the heads up. Yes, I would be interested in the RS grill if it fits. Let me know and maybe we can work out a trade. Now that I think about it, this pic might be from the restored Jenkins '68 Camaro. They may have taken liberties with the engine color. However here is another pic of Grump loading the motor into his '67 Camaro.
  10. Here ya go. Have done all the body mods you suggested for the AMT '68 Camaro. Cut out the rear seat and scratch built the interior. Scratch built a "Grump Lump". Corrected a "Mountain Motor". Got my Cady decals. Still need a hidden lights RS grill. May enter it in your next "Bring out your Dead" challenge, or the next after that.
  11. Thanks Snake. I also have a '68 Grumpy's Camaro mountain motored match racer on my shelf of doom.
  12. Thanks. Love them original Pro Stocks. I'm working on Grumpy's '74 Vega, Bob Glidden's '75 Mustang II and Grumpy's '76 Monza, had to source some Lenco trans and shifters to continue.
  13. Here's a side view of a few .
  14. Well, I redid 10 of my Pro stock builds (MPC and Johan). Found a bunch of mistakes that I needed to correct. That was fun and rewarding. There is so much information available now.
  15. Tried to order some Lenco transmission from them. Never got a reply. Ordered some from VCG Resins, got them in five days. Quick reply, very nice castings and great service
  16. Who said Zingers?
  17. Yep, looks like a stock Mustang about as much as a NASCAR one does.
  18. It worked. Got an email back from Manny. Thanks for your help.
  19. Looked them up on the Forum. Anybody dealt with them lately? Am in need of several Lenco transmissions. Need their email address as I don't have Outlook app.
  20. Anyone know if they are still in business? I've sent two emails and tried to place an order, but get no reply.
  21. Yep, they are such nice correct valve covers I swapped them to my Johan Dyno Don 427 SOHC Pro stock. The Johan ones had a spark plug hole over the front cam cover.
