  1. Here's the article on the restored Grumpy's Toy X Vega. It states it was a 331ci small block. https://www.dragzine.com/features/pri-coverage/pri-2013-bill-jenkins-restored-grumpys-toy-x-pro-stock-vega/
  2. Do you have a pic of the '36 Ford gasser box artwork? Have found all the others for my collection.
  3. Yep, it does. I used both on this build.
  4. Here's a Craftsman kit I converted many years ago. Cut out the hood and made an engine bay with parts from a "64 Impala kit.
  5. Nice work. Here's to moving it off "The Shelf of Doom".
  6. How about a Puller Truck conversion! Always was disappointed with the gap where the hinged hood part met the door fender extension, so I sawed the fender parts off the body and glued them to the hood fenders. A lot of putty and sanding later, I think it looks better.
  7. That's not a GTO in the pic. It's a Tempest. You can tell by the taillights and fender ribs. But it is the same look.
  8. Nichimo had a slot car Mantaray that was fairly accurate. Speed City Resin has asked for a donor of one to do a resin cast but we're still waiting. The MPC slot car of one was poor.
  9. Yep, been patiently waiting for a kit to be released of this for 50 years!
  10. My neighbor has a '72 Torino GT in his garage. Totaled, but he has one.
  11. Looks like this guy is going to need a "Nokie" (necker) knob on his steering wheel!!
  12. Great job, so far. I still have my "Ventures In Space" record in my collection, too.
  13. Looks more like a Mustang than the NASCAR version!!
  14. Pull up to any DMV license building in Texas in one of those and you will quickly see the application line disappear! Good job.
  15. Thanks for the tip. They are still available. Ordered a set of each.
  16. Oh wow!! I remember reading about the "Henry The Eighth" Mustang. Great score! I also remember the scratch built Malco Gasser (by his trademark injector scoops). I know you will do them proud.
  17. The Johan Mustang FC and Pinto FC had the 1/25th Don Hardy chassis of which you speak (a later version), but they are pricy. The Monogram Cop Out FC is also close and much more available but it is in 1/24th scale.
  18. It does seem to sit better now, great pic.
  19. Good job! Love those early Funny Cars.
  20. I'll have to agreed. I have one molded in red and one molded in orange. Even MPC couldn't decide.
  21. I used Testors Rattle can #1231 Gloss Bright Red. Says red but looks orange to me!
