  1. Are these going to be any different than the originals or just the same A-100 with different decals and a CMG reissue ? More is better. Building 4 64 Mopars right now so I am looking forward to MORE.
  2. Looking pretty good. If I was going for a stock looking distributor I would paint the cap satin black. The hardest thing for me on the Hemi is the alternator and bracket. Looking forward to seeing more.
  3. If they were really "smart" cars they wouldn't pull in front of me on the freeway
  4. This is what I have been using. Seems to work the best. Comes in white black and red.

  7. Thanks . After a closer look at the 1:1 car that panel will need to have the ends filled and sanded smooth any way. The 64 Plymouth body I am building has it attached and there doesn't seem to be any issues with assembly.
  8. Question for someone that has built the Lindberg 64 Dodge 330 (Ramcharger/Color Me Gone). Does the rear body panel have to be installed after the body is on the chassis ? Or can it be attached to the rear below the trunk lid and painted before assembly ? Thanks
  9. Any difference (other than name) between Purple Power (Autozone), Drivers Choice (Dollar Tree), Super Clean (parts store) Awesome (dollar Store)? First three are purple To use for removing paint Thanks

  11. The divided scoop for the Max wedge looks a bit to narrow but it might be the camera angle ? The other scoop looks narrow also but is for a later model (hemi?) definitely not the 64Hemi scoop. I would be interested in the engine options in this kit Max Wedge, Hemi both ?

  15. i plan on using the four headlight grille on this build and the two headlight grill on the next one. is there additional work for adding the inner lights?
  16. New to using PE Not had a lot of success with the carb linkage PE parts yet (they seem to small). I am about to do the grille on a 64 Dodge 330 and after looking at the instructions it seems to be a bit more involved than I thought'. I did a search and did not find any thing on doing a PE grille. Is their any tips or advice on this ? Thanks
  17. The ones on the 61 Sunliner look similar to the aluminum ones I ordered. The ones I ordered were supposed to be for early 60's Mopar but were way over-sized even on 15" wheels. I had to turn them down some and round the edges. (Your cars look great by the way)
  18. I believe that full size or dog dish they all are wheel covers. This is what was originally called a hub cap. Covered the bearings on the hub.
  19. Found some Krylon clear-satin. Thanks . I will wait a few days before I spray some over the Banner Red. (after I try it on a test piece first)
  20. Do a search for "Car Song Builds" . Lots of stuff on a thread titled "Car Song Builds" (site:modelcarsmag.com car song builds)
  21. I could not find a Krylon semi-gloss or satin on their web site. I will look some more. Thanks
  22. Using Krylon paint and I want parts to have a semi-gloss finish. Which paints work the best ? I have tried Rustoleum satin clear and got crazing. Not sure if it is a paint incompatibility problem or the Krylon was not fully cured. Really don'twant to have to strip the paint off again. Thanks
  23. Most bell housing were painted engine color and auto's were natural aluminum
