  1. Honestly, I wish that I was interested in building a '66 Wildcat. I think it would be fun to try my hand at rebuilding the interior. I'm sure that there is another kit out there that has seats that are close enough to the Wildcat's to be used as a base. The door panels might actually be fun to re-do. The chassis issue is the same as any other '60s full sized GM product, especially the many Pontiac Bonnevilles produced by MPC and AMT from that era. There are no suitable highly detailed chassis produced for anything from GM with a long wheel base from the mid to late '60s. Steve
  2. Thank you very much Tom! Steve
  3. No problem Leroy. I went through all of these "end of year" posts in one afternoon myself. After you look at a couple of hundred nice builds, you begin to lose track of who did what. Steve
  4. GTX? Steve
  5. Thanks guys! Steve
  6. One of the UV setting glues like Laser Bond works great for mock ups. It sets instantly with the UV light and it is very easily picked off with a finger nail when it's time to disassemble. This works great for unpainted parts. Not so much if the parts are painted as the paint might chip. I have assembled entire engines and chassis with this glue in a matter of minutes, and then cleanly disassembled in seconds. Steve
  7. Thank you Brad! Much appreciated! Steve
  8. I haven't built a modern kit in close to 10 years. All of my vintage kits are worthy of full restorations. My stomach couldn't handle a '68 Coronet R/T or '66 Dodge Monaco beater! ?? Besides, I have all of the fun that I can handle building factory stock, or close to it. Steve
  9. I wondered how long it would be before I finally saw one of the Revell '57 Ford kits done in this classic "Silver Mocha" and "Coral Sand" paint combination. It's glorious!! Nice work Brad! Steve
  10. To be perfectly honest Dave, I did contemplate working out a way to make the springs functional during the course of the build, but never really came up with a viable solution. Steve
  11. You always deliver in the cool department Thomas, and your work is beautiful! I know that I'm always going to see some very nice, interesting stuff when your builds are revealed! Love it all!!!! I don't believe that I ever saw the Taladega before. What a beauty!! Steve
  12. You are a real master Bob! I would be lying if I said that a lot of this particular subject matter interested me, but it is all top notch work none the less! That '60 El Camino is absolutely killer!! Steve
  13. Nice stuff Paul! A lot of it is not really in my interest sphere, but you sure do crank them out......and extremely well!! The '61 Impala is the one that grabbed me! Steve
  14. Great work David!! The '51 Chevy is as cool as all get out!! Why I've never built one of those is beyond me. Terriffic stuff! Steve
  15. Nice stuff Bruce! I particularly like the Ace!! Steve

What can I say Anders!? How you can pump out such consistently wonderful stuff in the numbers that you do is completely beyond me! But here it is in all of it's glory! Fantastic work all around!! Steve
  18. Very nice stuff Keith! The '62 Catalina has my vote!! Steve

  20. That is some top notch work right there!! There is no way to pick a favorite, but I keep coming back to that '66 Merc! I can honestly say that I have never seen a nicer example of that kit! All that I can say is wow!! Fantastic work Michal! Steve
  21. Maybe only one, but one of the coolest trucks I've seen all year! Nice work Bill!! Steve
  22. I can always count on some cool, unusual and interesting stuff coming from your bench Richard! The '56 Dodge and '57 Olds are especially beautiful! Steve
  23. That is quite a line up Emmanuel!! Beautiful work all around!! Steve
  24. Nice work Tony!! That Torino is a real eye popper!! Steve
  25. A lot of really nice stuff there Trent! If I had to guess, I would say that you are a bit of a Mopar fan!! Steve
