  1. I wonder if that means the yet to be released but obvious 1968 model will be the long awaited 4wd version? If so, which engine and bed configuration will it be?
  2. Matt, I should be able to get to the stash and dig those bumpers out tonight or tomorrow. Of the two samples you have above, I am leaning towards the Plate bumpers. Mike
  3. Yup, and if you want to build a small block SS/RS, you have to rob a third kit for the engine.
  4. I wasn't as concerned about the clear as much as some of the colors. Glad to hear that this is just a temporary thing Brett!
  5. Have you contacted the resin company? Something that is obviously that far off and is basically unusable should be brought to their attention. You might be able to make your own hood using styrene and the kit hood, have you considered that?
  6. Check out Scenes Unlimited, Danny has a bunch of wheels and tires that you could use, depending on your tastes! Also, Fireball has some new wheels and tires that might be what you are looking for.
  7. doing some searching around last night and found that multiple websites had various colors "out of stock" and it looked like some of them were because of relabeling. Looks like we can thank the great state of California.
  8. I'm sure model kits aren't the only ruse this POS is using to scam people out of money, people like him tend to run multiple scams on different items because they get greedy.
  9. Thanks for the heads up Vince. It might be of use to notify the admin at the other forum of this guy's antics, maybe they can boot him off of there too!
  10. Looking very nice, sorry to hear about the decals, hope the second time around works better!
  11. another unique build Dan, love it!
  12. very nice! I think you would need a ladder to get into that van!
  13. Thanks! That is a great tip.
  14. Might be worth checking with Norm and Replicas and Miniatures, he has a bunch of similar conversion pieces for other Camaros.
  15. The snap kits are great to get out of a slump or to experiment with paint. I have a bunch of snappers in my display case, mostly 69 Camaros and 63 Corvettes. Surprisingly enough, the body proportions on the Revell snap kits are spot on and make for some nice models when completed. Don't hesitate to buy and build them, enjoy the journey!
  16. Well, considering we are entrusted to put the information ourselves, if I was to run a scam like this I don't think I would list the same city. Using another town 200 miles away might throw enough people off the trail for awhile. Of course when Harry disclosed that the two members were using the same I.P. address, that kind of spilled the beans!
  17. I was just looking at the Tower Hobbies website and many of the Tamiya spray lacquers were listed as either temporarily unavailable or on order. Has there been an issue with getting the paint here in the States? There is only one LHS and they carry the Tamiya paint but it's out of my way to go there, has anyone else had an issue? I know a while back there was a labeling issue with the clear, have the others been affected?
  18. Great work as always! I enjoy watching your builds come together and the level of scratchbuilding is incredible.
  19. That is really nice, great details and realistic. That first picture had me thinking it was of the 1:1 !
  20. I can same the same for Ken (BIGTRUCK), no problems and would do it again !
  21. What, no Shania Twain fans? LOL ! My favorites have been listed here already, great topic Harry!
  22. You post some pictures of a real truck, call it a model and expect us to believe you? Just kidding, that is awesome and very realistic, great details and weathering.
  23. Scale Equipment LTD is another possibility along with Norm Veber at Replicas and Miniatures.
  24. As always, your projects are well detailed and unique. I really like the panel, what are your plans for it? The Elky is definitely different, but in a good way, and will make for a nice model when done.
  25. Sounds great, however the church is not in the museum business and it appears the guy left his estate to the church, which is going to use the proceeds for programs. If you look closely at the cars in the collection, some are the clunky cheap die cast you see at truck stops and gas stations while some are truly desirable pieces. Hopefully the right person identifies which is which and maybe the common, inexpensive ones finds their way to the church's children.
